While I don't think we need to -define- our community by Reddit, I think /r/Dota2 is going to easily be our most common source for new members as we continue to post and try and upvote things to the front-page there. I think we should always keep the subreddit around and maybe always keep the Reddit link in our footer or something similar.

About the logo: I really agree that we should have something independent and not Reddit related, however I really fucking dig the current logo I think it looks great with the board. I'd say go ahead and work on something new at your leisure Love, we can always pop it on the front page first and then the board.

I'll whip up a little "reddit" theme for the board that is all white and kinda looks like reddit and this current banner can be for that theme!

Ranged carries where always my weak-point, I'd rather play just about anything else. I have played a few games as Drow and I certainly see how awesome she is, She is a beast in the night late game.

I tend to rush Shadow Blade because the active helps with my terrible positioning lol.

I did a ass-load of research about a year an a half ago when I built mine and Corsair is the way to go for Power Supplies. I'd definitely suggest a modular one as well, especially if your going to have a window.

Dude Lenovo makes hands-down the best products on the planet, we use them exclusively at work and I'm so impressed. I personally have a Lenovo T410 and its the shit. I am in love with the little red dot mouse thing, I like it way better then the touchpad.

Welcome aboard qman! How long have you been in the Dota2 beta for? Have you been playing Newerth for a while or did you just pick that up recently?

That could similarly give a wrong impression to new visitors. We aren't really a school per-se, it's not like we are pro players handing down our years of experience to the n00b masses. While we're all here as low-skill players looking to improve in this game together, the main point is still to get some friendly (and soon hopefully semi-competitive) games going to have FUN and get better.

I have heard the "mentoring" idea thrown around, and we could totally do something where the top few teams/players in the league do reviews of peoples replays or something. We could have a whole subset of the site for that... school.dotanoobs.com "Welcome to DotaNoobs University".

Hey Doobs, we had another awesome round of in-house games last night and I think we almost tripled our turnout in Mumble. Like Alverez announced at the beginning of the night, these pick-up games are just a way to get everyone playing together while we get things up and running, and I'm sure I speak for both of us when I say we're incredibly happy at the way things have been going so far (the subreddit only went up 17 days ago!) and the awesome support and participation we've been getting from you guys.

So let this thread be a place where you, the players, can give us feedback on the in-house games so far. What do you like, what do you not like? Is there something you would like to see handled differently? Anything at all. Remember we are here for you guys so we are all ears on this here comment box.
