You are definitely in for a treat with the last 3-4 patches, tons of stuff has changed. I don't remember how long you've been gone but I'm pretty sure you were around for the switch to Teamspeak (meaning we aren't on Mumble anymore!)

Hey Skyop, nothing much in the way of organized events in the near future. A lot of us are just anxiously awaiting our trip to TI4

The International 4 has rekindled our love of competitive gaming, and I'd like to host another DotaNoobs tournament.
To prevent overly stacked teams like BitF2013 we would select captains and draft teams from the pool of interested players. Our last drafted tournament (2012) was a game-per-week league and we had an issue with teams not showing up for games. I think a $25 buy in ($5 per player) would help keep teams committed. Please vote in the poll and let me know if you would be interested in the $5 buy in (obviously money raised would be used as a prize pool), and drop any comments/suggestions below! Looking forward to organizing another round of competitive DotA with our wonderful community. |
