As you go higher in tiers of play you have less and less people, so I am aiming to cast to mostly low/mid tier players. What I'm looking for is a broad audience. I am working towards a more high energy style since I'm interested in casting actual games rather than only casting to teach people how to play. I do love teaching people, and will continue to do so, but I also want to try and make it as a regular caster.

DotA is different from regular sports because it is so immensely complex. Its important to cast what is happening play by play because there is so much information coming through the screen that it is often difficult to really understand everything that is happening, so experienced casters pick out the important information and relay it to you. If no one said anything I would just assume that some shit went down and now some dudes are dead.

In sports its a little redundant to repeat what everyone can plainly see, but in DotA the average person probably can't process everything that is happening. A lot of the time I'll think a teamfight is going the way of one side, whereas Tobi is announcing the opposite, and he is right.

If you're going to go down, do it in a blaze of glory. No one will argue that you didn't try everything you could when you get MoM + Rapier.

Sorry for the short notice, but I didn't get too much notice of the time myself.

I'll be casting my first official cast on the Absolute Legends stream in about 1 hour.

Hey Doobs! I'm hosting and casting a tournament with Absolute Legends on their stream. I posted this tourney to Reddit and will be posting it to Gosugamers and joindota forums as well. Hope you guys will be able to make it. Send me an email at the address below if you want to sign up a team.

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dChdT_XKmWc&t=0m35s

Divine Courage is a website designed, maintained, and coded by Ropedy. The site will (under Balanced mode) output random item build for a selected hero. The basic concept of Divine Courage is that the player can only buy (with a few exceptions such as gem and bottle) non-recipe items under 400 gold, consumables, a given set of boots, and six random items in any order. Click on the rules tab for details.

I will be hosting a $25 tournament along with Absolute Legends following the rules of Divine Courage on July 29th, 2012. The games will be casted by me, Love is Dead, and livestreamed through Absolute Legend's Twitch.tv page.

Tournament Details
Date: July 29th, 2012
Type: Single Elimination
Draft: Captain's Mode. After the draft I will plug the heroes into DC and message the captains with their team's respective builds.
Teams: 5 players minimum, and up to 2 stand-ins
Prize: Winning team will receive from me either $25 via paypal to the team's captain, or 2 keys for each player of the winning team.

Registration Instructions
Send an email to justin.blau8@gmail.com with the team's name and links to the steam profile of all of the team's players on the steam community website. The deadline for registration is July 25th, 2012. Registration will be first come, first serve.

There is a VOD, but there is no audio... so there is basically no VOD. Audio did go through, though, when it was live.

One of the guides I've been writing for Dignitas. I think it provides good insight into planning an attack or defence of a tower.

Article I write on understanding the draft, which I think should help at least a few people out. I don't know what happened to my images, though, and may have to go back in and reupload them, so sorry about that if you click the link and they are not there. Fortunately, though, the images aren't too important.

Okay so, I was definitely wrong in my previous posts. Tiny can be an absolute beast in the late game with AC, Aghs, Drums, Phase, and Daedalus.

All the knowledge is available here: http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

However, learning how to use that knowledge is a separate thing entirely. I'm terrible at it, so I can't provide too much help.

I can make it to the first game. Not intending to play, but I'll be around.

These are pretty fantastic. I use them and would highly recommend them over the ones suggested by Valve.

I love wraithband > aquila on nearly all agility heroes with mana problems, so I would say its a good item. Null talismans aren't great, but they're useful if you have a particularly bad lane with an intelligence hero and need something to boost your MP regen + mana pool coupled with a percentage-based regen item.
