So today in the D2L Liquid and Empire went into the 3rd game. In the final match Empire broke out the ol' standby of Cancer Lancer and KotL, with a Lion to round out the Tri-Lane. Their Tri-lane was busted by an aggressive Tri-lane of Naix, Leshrac, and the new meta pick of Ogre Magi.

They not only lost the lane, but they lost it in a CONVINCING matter. PL had something like 15 CS before the lanes really broke apart.

So here comes my two cents for everybody else out there who dreads KotL/PL, the real key to beating PL is hyper aggression in lane. Even with the coordination of one of the best pro teams in EU, the cancer lance spam wasn't there. Liquid never turned off the pressure on PL and even when the creep wave was under tower PL had a hard time getting the cs because they could very well dive due to the amazing set up and chain disable that comes with Liquid's lane. Bottom line is even if you don't kill PL just shut his farm down and you will do just as fine.

In pub games you might not get the option to be aggressive against a PL, buts that's why you have other Doobs to play with so you can take your revenge on the cursed KotL/PL.

For Drow, BKB and just getting close to her (even if you are ranged) and she gets incredibly weaker
Riki is a bit harder, but again BKB and his complacency will lead to his death.

I played against a Riki once who thought that he was so godly he sat ,literally, right on top of our team. He was so cocky that he didn't check our inventory for sentries or the gem that we had. We just stun locked him, killed his team who tried to save him, and took double rax even when they were up over 10 kills and were pushing our rax.

People get so caught up thinking of all the damage some heroes do and they just overlook how you can just stun and kill them with a couple of hits. Most high damage heroes are relatively squishy. This irrational fear is in my humble opinion is the cause for "Imma Lady Syndrome" in pubs. Of course thats when you are solo Q'd and when communication is at a minimum.

I remember the game, Ayesee said that it was a possible play because it opened up the draft and he kinda is right. He also said that it was a good plan for a team that didn't have a plan. It's kinda good, but also when it come down to your picks you have to have a good grasp and what you want to do based on their picks. No extra time means a possible random pick and random pick unless you are really lucky probably means GG.

High risk for kinda high reward. It could help you get heroes you want because they have to pick their bans much more carefully.

I really wish Zenith would have shown up to play though they really dropped the ball in their series against iG. That was the series for 1st place and Zenith didn't show much.

This is true about iG, they are the best team in the world right now. However that doesn't mean they are unbeatable. Although there is a larger hero pool used in the east, the games are alot more stable/tame than western games and that doesn't really help bolster iG's best in the world title. iG is considered the best because they won TI2 and have an incredible streak going, but Zenith had a comparable streak and NaVi sent iG down to the loser's bracket in TI2. With a slight alterations in meta with each new tournament its hard to gauge the teams based on past performances. The only thing that you really can draw conclusively is if the team is stable in their gameplay.

So the first footage for BF4 is out and the campaign looks fantastic. Unfortunately this is one game that may be better to buy on console. With a reported 3000p+ and running at 60 fps BF4 is going to push the limits of the rigs that got battle tested by BF3. I'm way to hooked on the Battlefield series to not buy the game, but this one is might be a couple hundred more expensive than the last.

E3 will be fun to look at, by then the game should be almost in beta. With a release later this year, I already have something to buy this holiday season.

Really its not a bad strategy just think about all the first bans in the meta that you wouldn't want to play against and you have to pick the two you hate the most

A Trilane isn't really best for him. Shadow Demon is has similar abilities, but he is better. SD has an amp that applies for all damage while skyrath has his amp for just magic as well as its a lower percentage although its a lot easier to land because of the nature of SD's amp. Also without a stun, a support in a trilane is kind of weak. Putting him in a situation where he can get fast levels and farm will be best.

He seems like a strong dual lane support. With somebody like Lina he would be a trilane possibility, but he would probably still be situational. His mid capability would be comparable to something a like warlock. The fast levels and farm are nice, but at the end of the day you still would fill that support role.

Well I wasn't really talking about skills I was just throwing out a support that could mid . I guess Lina, Lion, and Pugna could all be more comparable skillwise especially Pugna because of decrep.

Ive heard pugna is suppose to poop on this hero because of his ward. Apperantly around 900 damage when he uses level three ult

Someone watched DC's intro vid

Well if you want to throw out numbers be prepared for full blown math:

Mana cost for his max level ult is 800, max level pugna ward deals 1.75x damage of the mana cost of a spell.
Before magic resist it would be 1400 damage after the regular 25% magic resist (no outside magic resistance such as null field or Pipe) it does 1050 damage. Now if he was decrepified it would deal 15% amped damage (again assuming no outside magic resist) which would be 1610 damage.
