the learning curve is pretty easy. other then being against some insane pros occasionally, you will have your start buys down in like 1 day

i think its just the speed he casts at during fights. he gets a lot of information in really quickly. and he's really good at it in terms of not getting confused. also hsi energy levels. "OMG THAT DENDI EPIIIIII' or "LIGHT OF HEAVEN SHACKLLLE OOMMGG"

dont get me wrong i loooooove the show. but the idea of the series is how you dont encounter fighting that often. i may torrent it and then steam buy it if its any good

it died down on thursday. the game is very addictive. but recently its flaws have really started jumping out into my face.

There is a guy in my office whose favourite hero from DOTA 1 was magi. As someone who never played him much but faced him a lot is that OMG is he a pain. So i played 1 match as him the other day and man o man is he an entertaining character to play. when you get a nice multicast you just have a big smile on your face

Game 2 has not only a very interesting start, but one of the most intense 5 minutes outside rosh pit. One of the most memorable games in recent memory.

So i know it seems self serving but has anyone gotten invites since we last talked about it?

it may sound retarded but as much as i want to play it, i really want the SDK too

i've been trying to get screenshots of neutral creeps by posing them in the alien swarm SDK but it has so many restrictions. reading the API i know the model viewer has the necessary feature to properly pose the hero/creep models to do what i want with them. unfortunately i am stuck waiting

Holy christ you guys, i've been overly busy the last few months with work and school, plus spending my time with other games. Well done with the community being able to get SynD to join in on a in-house. Sooner or later i will be coming back to get roflstomped by you guys. keep up the good work!

full time job + full time school = 85 hours + a week working + 6-8 hours of sleep = a few hours per week spare time

had to watch all of breaking bad, occasionally dabble in DayZ, Steam Sale, Diablo 3, and now the good year end games are coming. So I am trying to find time to DOTA, and i will force myself to play SOON.

I'm thinking next sunday night inhouse would be best. Long weekend in Canada, see you guys soon
