Removing your shoes at the door was actually a recommended step in an article I was just reading about minimizing dust in your server room/battlestation.

Posted by Kaero Dubstep for me it has to be liquid dubstep, the other "versions" just dont do it for me all that much with a few exceptions. Also thanks Binary, I forgot all about Godsmack ![]() I'm only familiar with their first three albums, but damn are they awesome. |

It's already in the works! I will port the code for tooltips to both wordpress and the board, so that official guides can be posted on Wordpress and we keep that functionality on the board so noobs can follow discussion.
I hope to have the tooltip stuff ready to go by the end of the week, then it's just a matter of creating small text files that hold the formatted data for each item/hero/skill. We're totally on the same page. |

Never ever heard of them before, seems like a pretty awesome site. I will have to scope it out more in depth. I see everyone and their mom using SMF and SimplePortal lol. Have you played with them at all? Looks like they have been around for a LONG time.

Exactly what jBrown said! We have "official" game times on Sunday and Tuesday where we really organize and stream all of the games, but people are around almost every night in Mumble looking to play, so don't be shy

We definitely can do a LOT to put our name out there that we haven't really touched on yet. We're really growing quickly as a community and there is a lot of work (at least I feel like) that we need to put into the site before we're going to attract a lot of members that stay. I'm actively working on getting a Guide system set up, and we've been talking a lot about the Dota University thing, we are definitely going to do something to this effect.

This is such a fantastic idea I can't even tell you how big a smile I have on my face right now. I put off working on BinaryBeast stuff to work on the guide popups because I really want to run through a few sessions of BB so I can get a feel for exactly what kind of controls we are going to need to create for ourselves.
THIS IS SUCH A GREAT WAY TO DO THAT. I am 100% down to throw some cash in the prize pools as well. We have two options for getting things working sign-up wise. I can create/modify our "Team registration" form for this and dump it all in a database, but I feel like that is a bit much for right now (until we get our custom BB panel to do it for us! ), so the other option is to create a "Events" category in the forum, create a subforum for Last Hit Tournaments, and just use threads to get everything organized for now. We could sticky the thread for the upcoming game, and the first post would be edited to display current registrants etc or w/e. Or if you guys have a better idea I'm all ears hit me. I work 2 third shifts this coming week over spring break so I got plenty of time to whip something up. Fucking awesome idea. |

I love threads like these because I've never played Alchemist (and actually probably only versed him two or three times), so I get to go play him for the first time with two different perspectives. He is the guy with the numbers above his head right? Lol I'm such a noob.

Posted by jbrown You're actually looking forward to Global Offensive? Last I heard, pretty much every pro CS player hated it. What do you like/dislike about it? Honestly I haven't had time to look at it much at all, I just always expect good things from Valve. CS1.5 wasted my whole high school, 1.6 was the shit, source is pretty fun, what could go wrong? lol |

I think it's crazy when you try to consider how much a professional DotA player might consider between action in a given game. Sure sometimes I glance at my mini-map and team-health at the top before rushing into a fight to decide if it's a good idea or not, but I'd like to believe top-tier players out there are thinking a few steps ahead of that, and accounting for way more than I do while deciding to go in or not.
Even simple things like whether to rush to the side-shop quick or to just use the courier, or when its safe to farm a lane and just how far you can push. Hell I often feel like there should be some serious rhyme or reason behind which tree I tango haha. The idea that you learn something every game is so valid. If you do exceptionally well, you will (hopefully) reflect on that and note what you did that helped your team to victory, and if you lose you should both learn from the team that just outplayed you and also reflect on the mistakes you made that you are able to identify. |

Hey Ranshin, I remember you from Mumble last night. Glad you found your way to the board. We have been getting a steady stream of European players interested in this project, and so we hope to get some people willing to organize in-houses at a set time that is more Euro-friendly.
I know our current central time games can be difficult to attend for some. Stick around, things are only going to get better. |

Never dealt with MSI support. If its not the charger itself then it probably is the port which would be soldered onto your motherboard. If you're still under warranty I'm sure MSI would replace the mobo for you.
Hope that works out for you! Keep us posted buddy. |
