I googled it, and am playing this mode as we speak. It feels so much better. I felt bad my first playthrough was on medium, so I must play 1999 mode the whole way. I am also going for the fucking hardest achievement in the game, Scavenger Mode: Complete the game in 1999 Mode without purchasing anything from a Dollar Bill vending machine. FUCK YEAH.

I'll wait a while before buying this game. Spent all my money on trains and beer during easter. Pretty much broke now. Hoping I can catch it on sale sometime like I did with the other bioshock games.
Apart from issues with Nvidia this game seems to have got nothing but good words. I've seen reviewers toss out stuff like "better than the original bioshock", which means a LOT. Pretty much gonna have to buy this once money comes in. |

It's hard to put into words just how well done the game is. The sear imagination that one would have to have, to come up with some of the stuff in this game is simply jaw dropping.

Couldn't agree more. The story is well written and engaging, the set pieces are breath taking and give life to the world. The characters are very intricate and pull you into the story. Loving every second of the game so far. If you liked Bioshock, this will take you back to that first time you saw the first game. |

Posted by UnoPolak I just finished and I cannot stop grinning from ear to ear. ![]() Did you see the end coming? Normally I'm pretty observant but it took me almost completely by surprise. I think I might replay it this week on 1999 mode... that is if I can put down Dota and Xcom long enough... |

Same here! Will be trying 1999 Mode this weekend and see what happens. Not going to spoil anything for anyone. Just buy it and play it.
