Replay watching is by far the best way to improve, hell i keep a sticky note pad by my mouse pad to write down notes and timings and things like CS or GPM goals that i set based how i want to improve my game.

Like the other day i played a game as PA, i was doing 50 creep kills every 10 minutes. I went back and watched the replay and tried to figure out how i could get that to 55+, found some simple things. went into the next few games, applied them and saw some improvement.

You sort of look at things differently when you arent playing because you arent focused on playing! you have time to notice the really tedious things

One thing i can recommend as well to new players is Purges videos and LD and Lumi's Dota show, they cover the Chinese # system of farm in great detail for even a noob to understand.

I cant recommend watching dota enough, if people are too scared to play, at least watch. you get these ideas in your mind and you can see what other people are doing and sort of adapt your own playstyle to pick up on what someone is doing well or what you think you should be doing. like if you see a support struggling to ward, maybe you figure out what they could have done so when your in a similar situation you can come out for the better. I know when im farming pretty terribly i get a tendency to go afk in the jangle. statistics show that if you can clear the jangle in a minute then your doing about 500+ gpm.. what if you do that for 5-6 minutes? thats a reaver, or that BKB you desperately need! i would have never figured that out by doing some research and figuring out timings by watching old school dota, and now that people are even better theyve become more efficient so now more than ever is the time to watch!

as to the dota show videos id say its the day9 daily if dota theyre that good!

Nice! Ill keep my eyes out for good replays in the competetive scene if your looking for replays to use for like replay analysis teaching, like if you want to teach a certain topic.. say a replay of Burning farming or a global control strat!

Tranquil <3 makes your early game jungling so much easier, you can take stacks way earlier and that means more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Havent played LoL in a while but if you want i can point you in the right direction with some heroes like the ones you play, that way you can use your LoL experience even better
LoL isnt the worst place to come from before dota youll be suprised how much you actually know already!

Its normal for a support to feel that way, trust me theres nothing worse than feeling like youre not helping your team as much as you could.
If you want, hop on mumble sometime and we can show you some really easy things to help your game, just off the top of my head i can think of 2 or 3 things that could make you into a god tier support player

Communication is a huge thing, and everyone's guilty at some point for assuming, but on the other hand if you over communicate like i do then you run into ALOT of problems, it just comes with playing the game, especially as a support player you sort of have to listen to what your carries or your mids are saying, then move and support them

Gonna have to agree with commnado here. theres alot less trolls. but way more afk people. I was in a 5 stack in low priority last night and it was 3 wins but 3 of those wins were after about 10+ minutes of pauses.

You would think that if you accept the match that you would play the match.

You didnt put every item in the game in your guide for mirana just my opinion, you dont have to change it though.
