Gambit....quick question about your item builds. It seems like the starting items don't necessarily flow into the core/mid game items all the time. Is this on purpose?

I guess as a noob it just gets confusing for me sometimes. I dont have a specific example, i will have to play tonight and get one.

As much as I hate buying cosmetic items...ie TF2 Hats, Keys, ect....

I have already been lured into buying 3 DOTA keys for treasure chests. I am not sure how I will fair once they have more items out for more characters.

This contest does seem pretty awesome though, the TF2 Items were very well done.

So i am a bit behind it looks like, i just tried the demo. The only other game I have played similar to this format is Commands, and just from the brief demo of Xcom....it kind of blows Commands out of the water. How does Multiplayer work in this game though?

Ah OK, I was thinking that out of the 4 man squad, you would have 4 different humans playing the roles of each squad member.

This literally should like a modified version of Chess where you can pick your pieces....and they have guns.....and they are aliens.....so maybe not like Chess all that much.

Is this like a Colony Wars type game? Or maybe a Freelancer type?

If so it will most likely a day 1 purchase for me, if my computer can run it.

Welcome, even if you cant speak on Mumble, i would recommend downloading it at least to listen to, as it is by far the easiest and best way to communicate in game! I think there is a sticky forum somewhere that details how to get it setup.

Don't worry about being new, its kind of what this is all about! I am new myself...only about 35 wins or so, but playing with these guys is still a good time.

Is there an easy way to get back to /main from the forums? I keep wanting to click the 'Main' button, but it just takes me back to the main page of the forums.....is there a way we could add a 'News' button that would take us there?
