Yes i do recall this conversation. Somewhat. I also recall my wife asking me after the game session ended why the people i was playing with needed me to give them a letter. I was bewildered. I asked her "What do you mean give them a letter" and she said "Yes, they keep asking you to use your "Q" and you wouldn't" or couldn't. Didn't you have enough letters?" Ah the innocence.
