Not really, they've released some information and demos, but they're mostly close-lipped about it.

Can take a look at this demo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pwenut2xit8

Honestly, it looks snazzy to me. I've got high hopes.

At the very least we have to rotate PFlax's logo into the site randomly.

Chen and enchantress on the same team gives you tons and tons of ganking potential early on. You can lane enchant or put her in an aggressive tri-lane. I don't think they'll do that. Meepo is also really quite strong if the opponents have no way to deal with him.

I don't think gamers are quite that driven by emotion. Gamers will play a game if its good, and I think this has plenty of potential.

Go do it. I think they released some on PSN and if you have a PS3 you can get it easily. Other than that I'm sure you could emulate it. I did that a bit ago and sent it over to my TV, almost like the real thing.

Umm, not really. Early 2013 is anyone's best guess. You can signup for the alpha/beta test, which will happen sooner. I think the alpha is underway. I can't get the link at work though.

I'm offering coaching sessions for anyone that would like some help reviewing their game. My preferred format for coaching is to look over a replay and record the session for two reasons: I think people gain much more from a session if they can focus on learning and not getting distracted by play, and it provides others who weren't part of the session some content to view as well.

That being said, I'm also open to 1v1 mid sessions.

For anyone that's interested, just get in contact with me through here or through steam:

If you reply here, just leave a link to your steam profile so I can add you later.

I've already done two videos reviewing jBrown's play, and you can take a look at them here:

The idea that Tobi has enough insight to evaluate a team's picks is laughable.

To be fair their ports have bee notoriously bad. Remember that rockstar social network? Or was it something with microsoft? I only remember it being frustrating.

I'm too much of a mouth-foaming FPS player to be able to enjoy planetside.

Is it more fun the D3? I wouldn't mind a farming type game so long as it's, you know, entertaining.

"When pros pick up Invoker for competitive games, this is almost always the way that they build Invoker."

Invoker is picked by pros for his versatility. Q/E invokers were popular a few months ago for their global gank and strong push.

Same goes for fucking drow fucking ranger. This game was my best carry ever, lost to the bullshit that drow ranger dishes out: https://dotabuff.com/matches/75288476

I was so mad that I picked her next game to avoid playing against her, and won a game I really shouldn't have won: https://dotabuff.com/matches/75304166

Spirit Breaker is a hero that absolutely requires a good start, but doesn't fit well into any laning situation that would allow him to get that start. He will lose solo-mid, and will have a difficult time in a solo hard-lane. He doesn't scale very well, so safe-lane farming isn't a great option in comparison to other heroes that are better late-game. A mid-game carry like Juggernaut is more useful than Spirit Breaker earlier on in the match. He has a powerful ganking ability, but has little to help him gank effectively. He has no slow, a sort of effective stun, and too little burst damage. He needs to rely on his level of farm to finish off opponents with right-clicks, and needs to do so in a way that ensures he won't be kited. On top of that he can be disabled while charging if he is noticed. With Invoker I have had no problem hitting SB with a tornado when I caught him charging me. He can be powerful in certain situations, but those situations are very limited.

Compare him with a Night Stalker who runs around at the first night like a maniac, or a Templar Assassin who can dominate mid lane, or Batrider who is just as effective at travelling across the map and disabling a hero long enough to make a kill.

Pure damage is a form of magical damage (ignores armor) that is not reduced by magical resistance. I think the mechanics of BKB and Pure damage are fine, so I wouldn't change either of them.

OD is the epitome of a glass canon, and I think its fine to leave him as is as well. The current dota trends don't particularly favor glass canons unless you are highly skilled and know how to both farm and avoid getting killed, but that could be subject to change as strategies flow.

EDIT: I don't know who you were actually talking to.

EDIT 2: Probably not me.

NOT ENOUGH.

I wasn't watching the numbers, I was just trying to make sure I killed everything I saw. Drow was the only thing on the team that could do anything to me, and I killed her every time I encountered her up until the very end.

Picking in DotA is an artform. The more varied your knowledgebase the more you'll be able to make effective decisions. I started to learn how to pick by first reading all the abilities of every hero. After that I began playing every hero through random. Its only through first hand experience that you can gain an understanding of a hero to know how to play against it.
