I was playing with yebaby the other day, and he was pulling off some pretty pro hooks with Pudge.

I think these are all good points, and as a noob, its always good to be reminded of them. Sometimes i find myself so focused on last-hits, that i just completely ignore the map.

The biggest issue I have with communication in-game, is that I have no idea when to start ganking, when to push towers, when to team-fight ect. I would imagine that I will learn these things over time, but sometimes I do find myself standing around not knowing what to do. I think the "captain" idea is good, as long as that captain is not me.

I think a great example of this was a recent game I played as a Jungle Dark Seer. We had a more experienced person spectating the game as a "captin" to help out us Noobs. Though we got stomped pretty bad, it was good to have someone teach me on-the-fly how to jungle Dark Seer. He would say things such as "ok guys did anyone check so-and-so items?", "remember to call missing lanes", "how is the ward situation", ect. I found that format was very informative/helpful for me.

I want to say it could have been Uno? not positive....DOTA doesn't record private matches does it?

If I could hear the voice I would probably place them, as terrible as that sounds.

Yes, i do love this new update as it has the diffident items for the different play-styles. I cannot live without this now.

I cant say that I have had this experience yet.
Sometimes I think.... " man I am not sucking today " but that's about as far as it goes.

These moments are comprised of the little things; not running into a fight late only to die, getting off a good fissure as ES, or finally landing that clutch Sand King ult that I have fucked up the entire game.

True, i was pretty happy with that game, it was actually the exact game I was thinking of when typing my post! Then i will go into MM can get slapped in the face with reality, but I guess that is just the nature of DOTA.

In that game I had the sense that my warding was getting better. Its the small victories for me, i can already tell i am better when I started playing with you guys. Not to mention that I play about 100x more now as well.....which I am not complaining about.

I had/have Diablo III as well, but i just stopped playing it I guess. The First run-though was wayyyyy to easy, then after that its just the same thing over and over again. They really should of just gotten rid of Normal Mode, and started you on the next difficulty up.

How is Torchlight 2? I have the first one and really enjoyed it.....I played the demo of the second one and it was intriguing. I never realized how much I missed the skill point system until I didn't have it in Diablo III.

I have only seen him a few times, but whenever he is going against me, i just get destroyed.

I didn't want to clutter up the coaching Forum just yet, so I figured I would stick this here.

I saw the post on the main page about all the new things you Admins have been working on!
I for one, just wanted to say that I am excited about the coaching opportunities that are being worked on!
I wanted to give a thanks ahead of time for the people volunteering to be coaches, as I am sure it takes an enormous amount of patience dealing with us noobies.

I have heard only good things about the old Natural Selection, and I have seen a few videos on the new one, that makes it look quite impressive.

$25 bucks though? I guess that is really cheap for a good game, but I think DOTA has me jaded with the fact that its free......though I am sure I have spent $25 on keys at this point.
