I would really love to try this gametype out, here is a list of the rules that purge used in his games.

Traitormode:

Each team will send a traitor into the enemy team, thus playing against him. The traitor is allowed to stay in communication with his team, but feeding (dying more than 3 times) will result in him having to stay at the base. The draft in this mode will be Random Draft and each traitor will be granted first pick. The team that gets second pick though, will have to give the traitor a 10 second advantage before picking. Disable Help is banned. One traitor killing the other does account for the three deaths needed to be stationed in the base.

This was hilarious to watch. There was a bit of confusion on if one traitor killing the other traitor counted, though, I thought they decided it did not? I think I prefer the simpler version where it does since that means you don't have to count deaths manually.

I possibly can attend if my boss could actually make up his mind on when I'm working...

Probably will know within a week or two

We may need to confirm a team of 5 early since it looks like they only are doing an 8-team format, but let us know!

Hey there! Yeah a lot of us don't bother to check the in-game channel other than as an easy way to invite people we meet on TS3, maybe we should make more of an effort there. There has been some recent interest from a few really new people in getting some group coaching in a co-op bot game, or a MM review so if either of those sound appealing let me know. Cheers!

A few of the lovely admins have been tinkering with the website because... well because they could. So behold the new and improved website. Quite a bit of it will look the same, but the backend has completely changed and allows us to do some cool things in the future. You can now link your forum ID, Teamspeak ID and Steam ID together. Why you ask? Well everyone likes points and rankings and we now have an official Dota Noobs Ladder that shows how active in the community everyone has been. A betting league for TI3 is also being discussed, and feel free to suggest any cool features that you would like to see. You can register your account by logging into the forums, looking at the "Points of Required Attention" bit in the top right and following the registration link there. Cheers!

I will give a Dota-themed recreation for those of you who were unable to see it:

Scene opens
Tuskar leans against his Tier 2 tower after a night of heavy drinking with his pal Brewmaster, drunken haze still in effect. He feels safe, though, since his Tier 1 tower is still up so he decides to catch a quick nap.

Camera pans out
Suddenly the entire enemy team breaks out of smoke around him, and Naga Siren ults freezing both Tuskar and his tower from responding. Music happens! The Tuskar can only sit there, unable to move, contemplating his demise as soon as the song is over. The enemy Zeus in his blue outfit and a white tie is looking particularly dashing standing there. The song ends and Zeus shouts "THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE" as he steals the kill at the last second with his ult.

Scene fades to black

Hey hey and howdy! Quite a few super new people have joined recently and I am organizing a coaching event for this Saturday. As to your other questions, the first-person gameplays by Purge can be quite helpful when starting out. He is not a phenomenal player and some of the things he says and does will be wrong, but the videos are quite conversational and can still be helpful. We also have a few videos up on our Youtube account, and a particularly helpful Q/A session. Other than that just pop on our TS3 server and let people know that you are super new and need help. Cheers

Yeah, you have to register on the forums (top right) and then login. It is a wee bit complicated because it is homebrewed for fun.

Hey neckbeard. I just did a coaching game this past Saturday with 3 people playing against bots and me spectating, pausing and giving advice as we go. I'll probably be doing it again next weekend, but there are definitely people in a similar situation to you so don't worry. Feel free to add me (steam profile in signature below) and chat. Cheers.
