Silencer can be played 1 of 2 ways

He can be a right click carry where you max his Glaive and get stats and his 3rd skill. get things like phase boots orchid mkb and AC

OR alternatively

He is a strong lane support where you max his curse and his 3rd skill and you just harass them out of the lane hardcore, you get items like tranquil boots mek force staff and maybe a drums or a sheep!

I like the phase on him if im not going tranquil boots because he lacks a really early escape mechanism and if your going to be taking safe or even offlane farm then youll have them up in about 4 minutes and a force staff by like 11-12 minutes so your pretty much ungankable since they cant kill you. Silencer doesnt always need the strait up int just because his orb goes off of it, think of it more like an extra punch since its only a moderate % of his INT. His int gain plus getting charges in fights is more than enough to compensate not going for extreme int items. AC is a really extreme example but orchid/sheep/bkb are probably core if your intent on carying. Sheep on him more than anything is because your going to be the 1 role so your getting the farm anyway its the best item in the game and the overall stats are really good. I like getting MKB on him late game just because 99% of the time the enemy teams going to have a butterfly'd agi carry. someones gotta get it, your getting the 1 role farm so it might as well be you! you go from hitting like a truck to hitting like a semi. Youre going to be doing 300ish dmg before you add your glaive pure dmg last time i checked that wasnt that bad

We're assuming that he's going to go orchid first after his Early game items . His entire auto attack isnt pure damage, just that extra bonus dmg based on his INT. THat would be too OP.



Hes a hard carry by no means, but he does a little more than semi carry. He carries harder than say a QoP, someone similarly called a Glass Cannon and who you would build the exact same items on. She's run in the 2 role which means she will be getting the farm to support all of her items or other items. If silencer expects to carry or semi carry, what have you hes going to have to be in a similar role. Probably not solo mid because he has no good ganking skill, poor rune control, and no escape mechanism until you get your phase/force staff. The same would go for him being on the long lane, hes too easy to take down because of his somewhat lower STR gain compared to others.



Silencer isnt supposed to wreck a team by himself, he needs set up from his team, so a tide hunter or an enigma a CM. He basically pairs up well with any AOE cc and at that point as long as your getting a good initiation like that you cant lose a fight because they try to counter initiate and you pop global silence and theyre pretty much sitting ducks and any follow up damage is going to be enough to wreck a team if they cant lock you down.



Phase + Force staff after the reworks and price changes comes out to be 2350+1350=3700

We can take into account that with your glaive + stats build if you go that route or if you go curse+ glaive youll be last hitting a little more above average. Add the 24 damage from phase boots on top of that too and your going to be hitting for a very early 120-130 damage at least. With that kind of damage a good gank with your lane support or your mid isnt out of the question so theres some more gold. by 12 minutes you can usually get a really easy tower. This is an extreme case of getting that gold but my point being that it turns out to be about an average of 308 1/3 gpm or an average of 92.5 cs assuming we take the average bounty gold for a creep kill adding in A tower last hit and some kills drastically lowers that # down. Plus its not all that far fetched for you to be last hitting pretty well because of your high damage youll be getting because of your skill build/item choices. Pair him with a tide/CM/Sand/a ganking jungler/or have a good ganker for your mid and its not too far fetched, optimistic yes, but far fetched no. With the way the new kill system works a hero kill is worth 7.3 creeps on average and a tower last hit is going to be worth 10+. Just a muse and some food for thought.

This is why dark seer and bounty hunter are the best offlaners, once bounty hunter hits 6 he can start ganking everywhere and make up for all the gold he missed out on in a matter of minutes with track kills/assists. Dark Seer's ion shell is just so strong that youll get more gold than you thought and youll put in alot of harass and play with the creeps alot so their carry who's on the safe isnt going to have fun



And specifically about windrunner, i find that she has somewhat of a harder time solo laning because she has a weird escape, the best thing to do with her is to get power shot and to max it so you can get creep kills and harass, theres a reason her core items are really cheap but still really effectove, mek force staff and maybe even drums some argue are the 3 of the best cheapest items in the game
