Thanks for that Cip! It's not easy admitting that something went wrong, but to move forward we gotta do it.

We're going back to our roots. More inhouses, especially on Sundays, to introduce older members to newer ones. Fun matches AR-All Mid, Custom Realms matches, learning inhosues, etc.

Any advice on what you'd like to see us doing again or anything you'd like us to try, just let us know!

This isn't a bad idea. We did tavern CM matches a few weeks ago, with each team picking from a specific tavern, but matched Str v STR, AGI v AGI and INT v INT. It was pretty fun. I think the VOD is up on our youtube channel:

What is this? Two admin posts within 24 hours of each other, what madness is this?

I’ll tell you what kind of madness, the best kind of madness, Dota madness. It’s basically like Mask of Madness but instead of minus armor you gain +300 bonus armor, you instantly become more attractive to the opposite sex (which is quite a difficult feat for me to achieve since I am the paragon of male handsomeness), you become a witty, well-spoken gentleman with a posh British accent (not unlike Admiral Snuffles), and you get Rampages left and right (something …something…UnoPolak…something…something).

So I hear Sunday’s in-houses were pretty fun, I wouldn’t know, I was too busy trying to get a Custom Realms server working (DAMN YOU CR), but am eagerly awaiting both a CR hotfix as well as joining in this coming Sunday’s Doobs in-houses. Maybe this time I’ll be there to ensure that Uno doesn’t get a Rampage with Bloodseeker (FOR SHAME ALL OF YOU ON THE OPPOSING TEAM…A BLOODSEEKER!!!).

I could rant on about how handsome and witty I am and about how Uno was able to get a rampage with Bloodseeker (FOR SHAME. SHAME! SHAME! SHAME!), but instead I’ll once again post that we’ll be doing Doobs In-houses again this Sunday at 2 PM EST, so please come by and play games with us, we must prevent Uno from getting ANOTHER RAMPAGE WITH BLOODSEEKER (SHAME)!

Also, I’ll hopefully have CR up and running by then as well as a SUPER SECRET PROJECT THAT IS IN NO WAY A SYSTEM BY WHICH ACTIVE MEMBERS COULD EARN FABULOUS PRIZES LIKE A BLIMP.

This thread is getting kind of pointless. There's a general consensus that yes, the system they have in place sucks, but people were also complaining that previous system was too lenient. They will find a happy medium and would like to point out that you're playing a 100% free game that is still in beta.

I'm really hoping they keep the feel of the environments the same. I remember after fighting my way through the Undead Burg and Blight Town that it couldn't get any darker, then entering Sen's Fortress, a prison and trial for those seeking access to the home of the Gods, only to be blinded by the brightness of Anor Londo. The life that was once there and how you can show what Anor Londo truly looks like now...

The exploration, for me, was probably the best part. Finding different ways to traverse the world, different orders of boss fights (now I almost always kill the Hydra and Havel before going after the Golems), etc.

I've done all of these except the last. Unlike you scrubs I've never lost a game of Dota.

Obvious question, who's planning on going to TI3? I know many of us AMERICA based admins are planning on going (myself, Uno, Alverez, binary) as well as some of our Euro friends and was wondering who else is thinking of going.
