To my understanding a person will be considered a noob if they have under "x" amount of wins or under "y" W/L or something along those lines. Since each league match needs to be monitored by a coach/admin/mod it will be quite easy to check each player's dota profile, along with monitoring the match itself ingame. Once the league has been running for a couple weeks we should have better detail of the skill levels within each team and be able to set up better matches or better opponents.

So, where to start. I am a 20 year old student studying in Kelowna BC. I come from a starcraft 2 background where I have been following the scene quite closely since the beta. I have played tons of blizzard and valve games but had little MOBA experience. I played some LoL and some HoN when it was in the beta but otherwise very little. Since I started playing Dota 2 I am finding myself hooked just wanting to play more and more and get better and better. Currently have about 100 games played and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

I do a little streaming from time to time as well and plan to stream any Doob league games I can both for practice casting dota, along with working on being able to talk fast enough to say everything that is going on but clear enough so that it's understandable. Feel free to tune in sometime at twitch.tv/fellner

Sunday is normally the best days for me. I have soccer in the mornings/early afternoon, but otherwise I am free for the day. Just need to make sure to get most of my studying and labs done before sunday.

Hi again,

I'm Fellner and I was apart of this community for a little bit when it first started, but eventually dropped off and played with a different group of friends. I haven't stopped playing Dota and have built up quite a bitch of knowledge about the game that I want to share with others. I have taught plenty of friends this game and now am looking for new people to play with. I'm looking to get back in with the community so feel free to add me on steam http://steamcommunity.com/id/Fellner/.

I also enjoy playing crazy game modes like OMG, All Mid, ect. They're really fun and take the stress off matchmaking. Looking forward to playing with all you new people!

Not a bad idea Binary. Would be nice to have some more interesting game modes

I do have an idea to throw out that was used in the last staff cup. They had 1 person from the enemy team be a traitor. The traitor was on skype (TS for us) with his actual team and tried to find a way to screw up the enemy from the inside out. Draskyl played an excellent omni that repeled his team and gave rubick free ga and heals to steal. With rules like a death limit it made the game VERY fun to watch. Would really be fun to play something like traitor because I'm sure we have people that take it too a whole new level of evil.

I would really love to try this gametype out, here is a list of the rules that purge used in his games.

Traitormode:

Each team will send a traitor into the enemy team, thus playing against him. The traitor is allowed to stay in communication with his team, but feeding (dying more than 3 times) will result in him having to stay at the base. The draft in this mode will be Random Draft and each traitor will be granted first pick. The team that gets second pick though, will have to give the traitor a 10 second advantage before picking. Disable Help is banned. One traitor killing the other does account for the three deaths needed to be stationed in the base.
