Ive been watching a lot of pro dota matches on joindota.com and twitch.tv. I've learned a lot from the announcers little quips and just watching those guys play. Just curious if anyone else here watches these matches and if so do you feel like you learn from them.

If you don't, I highly suggest that you check them out.

Also, a lot of the guys who stream matchmaking seem arrogent and yell a lot, I would suggest muting them lol

Yeah any time a big game is going on it's fun to watch it and talk about it together.

after getting the basics down and learning some hero skills, i developed a lot of my knowledge and strategies based on the pro games.

i remember watching really early on in my dota career a pugna match that completely reversed my original strategy to a much more domiant gank/carry style role.

cant remember who it was but watching pro games can show you things you didnt expect and give you some really great ideas.

however i will still never be able to play chen good, let alone the level that Puppey plays him

If you didn't have a life and stuff, you would know that we watch these games all the time Stuart Morrison. You are bad and you should feel bad.
