I'm a newish dota2 player and I'm looking for people to learn the intricacies of dota with and advance my rather meager skill-level while hopefully having some wins fun. This place seems like a perfect spot for meeting like-minded and helpful people. So, yeah, here's hoping we can play some dota together and perhaps one day with your help I'll be able to leave the trenches and help new people in return. That would be awesome.

I'm a bit apprehensive about the TS, though. Should I really just barge into a channel and derail it with my insignificant self? I'm just going to lurk somewhere until I get a green light for going elsewhere.
