^ Agree with Archoass this is how I build drow
Helm of the Dominator is too good to pass up for the price(1850 gold). Note since frost arrow and lifesteal are orbs lifesteal applies when frost arrow is single cast and frost arrow applies when set to autocast. Shadow blade is fine when using it offensively like one would with an invis rune. But dont use it as a crutch for escape when your positioning is off since most players will use some form of detection to find you. I never build shadow blade because i feel there are better items to spend the money and space on.

Also I dont know when would it be appropriate to build shadow blade since you need surviablity and AGI to keep up with other agi carries. Drow has the lowest AGI gain of any AGI hero (with the exception of Ember spirit and Slark who are not yet in dota 2) because of the fact she gains Bonus AGI from Marksmanship. so she falls behind between levels of her ulti, pulls ahead when she levels marksmanship and then slowly her loses lead until next level of marksmanship.
Great guide

I don't learn shit when I'm in a pubstomp game unless there's broadcasters pointing out mistakes in all-chat. The majority of the in-house games that end up being more advanced players stomping newer players don't have 'casters giving advice.

If you need help finding where you could improve. Ask spectators in mumble after the game. There is usually 2-3 people spectating. When I am in mumble I am discussing critiques and strategies with other spectators. We are all here to help each other improve. Dont be afraid to ask. The first areas any player should improve on is positioning and farm. At our skill level you are going to win most of your fights because you have better items rarely will a fight be swayed by a cute trick or clever play(this is somewhat true at higher levels of play but most of the time a player utilize their heroe's abilities to efficiently counter the enemy).

All of the one sided stomp inhouse games I have seen follow the same pattern. The losing team take very few last hits and let the enemy from free farming. So when it comes time for a team fight(or 1v1) the losing side never had a chance because they let themselves build a gold deficit. This allows the other team to flat out have more effective health and damage. Next time a game ends in a stomp check the CS totals. Gold is necessary resource that too many people seem to be neglecting.

^ replays definately help
One can learn alot from taking the time to review a replay. There have been times when watching replays where I am like WTF am I doing. You will find all kinds of silly mistakes. Use what you find to set goals for your next game

Nice Guide
The thing I like about Night Stalker is how flexible you can be with your item choices.
I have been experimenting with Orb of Venom and Eul's. Orb is nice for the extra slow in a variety of uses and you can build it into a skadi late game. Eul's is great because it fixes NS's mana problems, bonus movespeed is always great on any ganker especially when when you lose your MS bonus during the day, and the cyclone is great for team fights and splitting up dual lanes when going in for a gank. Just some nice items to help round out his role as a tanky disabler

Note: This update won't be pushed to the main Dota 2 client until the Wild Cards qualifiers are done. We expect this to be on Monday. To distract you from this fact, here are three heroes!

GAMEPLAY
- Added Chaos Knight, Phantom Assassin, and Gyrocopter!
- Drow: Fixed Frost Arrows not working on mechanical units.
- Morphling: Added effects for strength and agility morph as well as an overhead timer for replicate.
- Nature's Prophet: Fixed Sprout destroying other trees around it.
- Shadow Demon: Fixed Soul Catcher being dispellable.
- Shadow Demon: Fixed Shadow Poison impact damage not hurting Disrupted units (and thus not disabling Blink).
- Fixed targeted spells not temporarily revealing the attacker.
- Fixed Orb of venom working on denies.
- Fixed the following spells being castable on magic immune allies: Nightmare, Frost Armor, Nature's Guise, Holy Persuasion, Decrepify, Astral Imprisonment, Shadow Word and X Marks The Spot

UI
- Selecting "Equip" on an item in the backpack now flips to the loadout and automatically does the equipping for you.
- Added support for watching replays via URL. For example, "dota2://matchid=15478&matchtime=300" will go directly to five minutes into match 15478.
- Added button in replay panel to copy an URL into the clipboard that can be used to get back to that point in that replay.
- Added Hall of Fame trophies to the bases. Clicking on them will display the winning teams of The International.

DOTA 2 BOTS
- Made bots not leave a gank if they currently have the ability to reincarnate and allies are still attacking.
- Fixed bug where bots would pick their heroes before humans locked in their picks.

For those not familiar with these heroes. I have provided a little breakdown of each hero

Chaos Knight -STR Melee- is a hero all about luck and probability. High risk for high reward. He is not a hero for the passive player. You have to be aggressive and dive in with Reality Rift and Chaos bolt to reap the benefits of this hero.Stat wise he is average in terms of STR AGI and INT for a strength hero, Average base STR with above STR gain, Low base base AGI with a good AGI gain and subpar base INT and INT gain but average in comparison to other Strength heroes Chaos Knight has the highest base damage in the game but with the highest difference in his base min and max damage(49-79). 2nd highest base movespeed (325 the only hero faster than chaos knight is Luna who is currently not in dota 2).and has a good base armor of 3.96. He is extremely mana intensive relying spells and have low INT. He commonly picked for his high damage and being a strong ganker. you play chaos knight similar to how you would a Nightstalker. You farm up a few items early game to get you started. Then start ganking like crazy. A few benefits that Chaos Knight has over a night stalker is chaos Knight is not reliant on night to be effective ganking, he can use his phantasms to follow up a gank to turn it into a push and personally I prefer to have a stun over a slow. Due to the random nature of his skills Chaos Knight is hard to rely on as a carry. But if you are looking for ganker with solid DPS. Chaos knight will stomp heroes midgame and makes for a great addition to any gank focused lineup.

Q Chaos Bolt- A mysterious energy bolt is thrown at an enemy. It stuns for a random amount of time(lvl1 1-2 seconds lvl2 1-3 seconds lvl3 1-4 seconds lvl4 2-4 second)and deals a random damage(lvl1 1-200 magic damage Lvl2 50-225 magic damage lvl3 75-250 magic damage Lvl4 100-275 magic damage)
MANACOST 140 mana COOLDOWN 10 seconds RANGE 500

W Reality Rift - Teleports you, any images you have and the target unit to a random point along the line between the two of you. Gives you bonus attack damage for one attack (Lvl1 25 bonus attack damage Lvl2 50 bonus attack damage Lvl3 75 bonus attack damage Lvl4 100 bonus attack damage.)
MANACOST 70 COOLDOWN Lvl1 24 seconds Lvl2 18 seconds Lvl3 12 seconds Lvl4 6 seconds RANGE Lvl1 550 Lvl2 600 Lvl3 650 Lvl4 700

E Chaos Strike- Gives Chaos knight a 10% to crit for extra damage (Lvl1 1.5times normal damage Lvl2 2 times normal damage Lvl3 2.5 times normal damage Lvl4 3 times normal damage)

R Phantasm - Summons several copies(Lvl1 1 Copy Lvl2 2 Copies Lvl3 3 Copies) of the Chaos Knight from alternate dimensions. The illusions deal full damage, but take extra damage(the illusions take 200% damage)
MANACOST Lvl1 125 mana Lvl2 200 mana Lvl3 275 mana COOLDOWN 140 seconds

Phantom Assassin -AGI Melee- Do not underestimate this squishy AGI hero. Just when you think you are safe under your tower. A blur will Phantom strike to your location proceed to dodge your attacks and crit your face off. If you try to run she will slow you and hunt you down. Quite simply she will fuck your shit up. Stat wise her base STR is average with a terrible STR gain, Base agi is average with one of the best AGI gain. Base INT and INT are the worst of any hero. This is not a big deal considering her only two active spells have a very cheap mana cost. you could farm with Stifling dagger if you are being pressured out of lane it is that cheap. PA is a carry in every way. She is completely item and level dependent. she is vulnerable early game and requires a partner in lane because her only method of escape is to phantom strike to allies. But for what she lacks in utility PA makes up for being one of highest damage dealers by far. With enough farm she becomes a crit machine dealing insane DPS

Q Stifling Dagger - Hurls a dagger which deals minor pure damage(Lvl1 50 Pure damage Lvl2 100 Pure damage Lvl3 150 Pure damage Lvl4 200 Pure damage) and slows the unit's movement speed(50%) for a short duration(Lvl1 1 second Lvl2 2 seconds Lvl3 3 seconds Lvl4 4 seconds) . Deals half damage to heroes.
MANACOST Lvl1 30 mana Lvl2 25 mana Lvl3 20 mana Lvl4 15 mana COOLDOWN 8 seconds RANGE 1200

W Phantom Strike - Teleports to a unit and attacks it. Gains 100% attack speed for 3 seconds while attacking that same target. Maximum of 4 attacks
MANACOST 50 mana COOLDOWN Lvl1 14 seconds Lvl2 11 seconds Lvl3 8 seconds Lvl4 5 seconds RANGE 1000

E Blur - The Phantom Assassin becomes hard to see by blurring her body and disappearing from the minimap when near enemy heroes (Phantom Assassin gains 80% transparency when a non invisible enemy hero is in a 1600 AoE). Some enemy attacks miss.(Lvl1 20% dodge Lvl2 25% dodge Lvl3 30% dodge Lvl4 35% dodge)
Note her evasion does not stack with items so a butterfly is not an optimal choice

R Coup de Grace - Gives Phantom Assassin a 15%chance to crit for extra damage (Lvl1 2.75times normal damage Lvl2 3.25 times normal damage Lvl3 4 times normal damage)
PA has the highest crit multiplier any hero can achieve. The 2nd highest hero passive is Chaos knight with 10% chance for 3 times normal damage. The best an item can provide is Daedalus with 25% chance for 2.5 times normal damage

Gyrocopter - AGI Range- This hero is a bit of a strange hybrid. Gyro's primary stat is AGI, But Gyro's focus is to be a caster a spam rockets. As a result Gyro's base STR and STR gain are terrible. To balance this his base AGI and AGI gain are great and Gyro has the best base INT and INT gain of any AGI hero. His attack animation (.2 secs) his one of the fastest in the game(the only heroes with faster animations are sniper .17 and wisp.15 seconds).Make sure to hit stop after each attack to animation cancel Gyros reload animation after an attack is .97 seconds. Decent Base damage(41-51). The only down side Gyro's short attack range 375. Gyro is great early game with his high mana and short cooldown skills, He can spam heroes out of lane. Use this pressure to to gank and set up early kills to build a nice early advantage. Now even though Gyro can spam the opponent like a madman you still have to be careful. Gyro has no escape mechanism and the worst stun in the game(3 seconds of prep for 2.5 seconds of stun). Once mid to late game hits things begin to drop off your magical damage is not as good as it once was and the enemy will have plenty of items to deal with it(bkb, pipe, etc). At this point Gyro shifts from a caster into a semi carry. you are going to want to end the game as soon as possible once you reach this point. If the enemy team has a hard carry it is down hill here. So push the throne before the hard carry gets fat on items. So if you are looking for a hero to provide some early game pressure and aoe to team fights you might wnat to consider Gyro.

Q Rocket Barrage - Gyrocopter unleashes a massive salvo of rockets, striking random units in a 400 aoe. Fires 30 rockets (lvl1 11damage per rocket lvl2 14 damage per rocket lvl3 17 damage per rocket lvl4 20 damage per rocket )over 3 seconds.
MANACOST 90 mana COOLDOWN Lvl1 7 seconds Lvl2 6.5 seconds Lvl3 6 seconds Lvl4 5.5 seconds

W Homing Missile - The Gyrocopter launches a homing missile that will follow the target until it impacts. The missile is inactive for 3 seconds upon launch and then begins slowly accelerating towards the target. Stuns the target for 2.5 seconds and deals damage(Lvl1 110 Lvl2 220 Lvl3 330 Lvl4 440) based on how far it is from its starting point. The missile can be destroyed by 3 attacks from a hero or tower.
MANACOST Lvl1 120 mana Lvl2 130 mana Lvl3 140 mana Lvl4 150 mana COOLDOWN Lvl1 20 seconds Lvl2 17 seconds Lvl3 14 seconds Lvl4 11 seconds RANGE 1050
Enemy gains vision over the rocket 1 second after it starts moving

E Flak Cannon - Gyrocopter enables all cannons, allowing its attacks to strike all enemies in a 800 aoe. Lasts for a limited number of attacks(Lvl1 3 attacks Lvl2 4 attacks Lvl3 5 attacks Lvl4 6 attacks ) or 15 seconds. Does not work with illusions
MANACOST 50 Mana COOLDOWN 20 seconds

R Call Down - The Gyrocopter launches two missiles at the targeted area. The first missile strikes (Lvl1 250 Lvl2 300 Lvl3 350 in 2 seconds, followed by the second missile (Lvl1 100 Damage/ With Aghs 175 Damage Lvl2 150 Damage/ With Aghs 225 Damage Lvl3 200 Damage / With Aghs 275 Damage) at 4 seconds. Enemies in the area when a missile strikes are damaged and slowed(20% Slow/ With Aghs 50% Slow).
MANACOST 125 Mana COOLDOWN Lvl1 55 Seconds Lvl2 50 Seconds Lvl3 45 Seconds RANGE 1000/ With Aghs Global range
