So is anyone here an owner? Im in the market for a new keyboard since one of mine got stolen when the office was robbed. And i thought i might as well splurge a bit.

Im mainly looking at the happy hacking keyboard 2. i already own mechanical keyboards in all the cherry mx stuff which is why i want to try a new "flavour" of keyboards when i get my insurance money.

Are there any pros / cons?

Never heard of them. I was looking around a little bit ago and Roccat keyboards were getting really good reviews. I think this one was ranked highest:

The only problem I've had with purchasing the HH Keyboards is the lack of number-pad (which of course you can get an extension of/for it).
If your curious, check out Realforce Keyboards. I currently use the Realforce 103U. Its pretty good. Cheers!

And of course you can! some people don't really use the numpad that much. I use the Realforce KB at work and for my needs I require a numpad (I do I.T. for a car dealership). Also, I have giant hands... Yes.

Edit: I suffer from "El Gigante Handô Grande Mucho"

Decided to go for the HHKB, will probably take some time getting used to the new layout but ill get a hang of it!
I really want a 60% keyboard for work that is easy to take with me back home as well.

I got a Ducky DK9087 Shine 2 recently, 10 key-less, white back lights and brown cherry MX switches and so far its the best keyboard I have ever used in my life and I'm glad I picked one up.

I recommend looking at some of theirs and see what takes your fancy as they have a lot to offer in terms of switches and layouts.

I use the daskeyboard at work: http://www.daskeyboard.com/
I use the Razer BlackWidow at home: http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-keyboards-keypads/razer-blackwidow-2013/

I love the feel of both keyboards. The Razer is huge compared to the das

I also own a blackwidow, WAY to big though and i hate the layout of it, i ripped off the keycaps on the macro keys and other things because they got in the way. I am a big fan of small smart layout keyboards nowadays Browns are my favourite cherry switch, closely followed by reds.

A few of my friends have the Razer Black Widow, it's pretty nice. BearHug actually just sold me on the Filco Majestouch-2 Ninja, I'm anxiously awaiting the 35-day shipping time from Japan

Word to the wise: My current Razer Lycossa is a total piece of shit, I'd rather type on a crappy laptop, stay far far away!

Well, i personally have bad experiences with blackwidows, mine randomly started typing by it self and i had to reflash the firmware to make it stop. This was when it was my main work-board as well so that really was not very good. (this is the first generation bw btw, i do not know if they fixed something with the 2013 ones)

Blackwidow here as well, its a good keyboard to use. My wife loves it and loves the loud clicks/clacks when she is typing.
