This needs to come out!!! After watching the brief gameplay it looks like Dark Souls with better graphics and even more insane enemies.

I am pumped for this game. I need to play through Dark Souls 1 like 10 more times I think though. Any idea on when this is coming out?

I would have responded yesterday, but couldn't stop salivating and it got all in my keyboard. All three of them. Wow really excited for this one. I still pvp in Dark Souls every once in a while. And it looks like they decided to keep a lot of the game mechanics from Dark souls. Can't wait!

I mean, for me, if they just made another amazing world I'd be happy. Dark Souls' environments were fantastically done and the enemies in each were equally incredible. I wouldn't mind if they made next to no changes graphically but kept the same challenging, but rewarding gameplay and the varied environments. Despite taking place in such a bleak world, it was a pretty colorful environment.

Looking forward to the new armor/weapon choices. Really liked the way the fur lining looked in the demo. The torch mechanic looked really great and felt natural. Like it was always part of the game. And those enemies... can't wait to see more game-play footage.

He's been doing in-depth analysis of the story, i.e. who were Gwyn's children (Solaire might have been Gwyn's disgraced son), the Chaos witches, etc. It's really fantastic.

I am so stoked for this. Dark Souls is awesome. Just started playing a lot of it lately. Looking forward to playing this without having to bother with GFWL.

I do hope they keep a similar minimalist storytelling style in the next game. It was always fun to read every item description looking for shreds of backstory.

And I can't wait to see how they'll make something to top Ornstein and Smough.

I'm really hoping they keep the feel of the environments the same. I remember after fighting my way through the Undead Burg and Blight Town that it couldn't get any darker, then entering Sen's Fortress, a prison and trial for those seeking access to the home of the Gods, only to be blinded by the brightness of Anor Londo. The life that was once there and how you can show what Anor Londo truly looks like now...

The exploration, for me, was probably the best part. Finding different ways to traverse the world, different orders of boss fights (now I almost always kill the Hydra and Havel before going after the Golems), etc.
