There's a group called Dota is Hard in the dota 2 channel list. Lots of nice people are hosting games all the time on Australian servers. Join the channel and hopefully play some games =)

I had a chat with the guy running this show over the weekend, I guess he used to be involved in Dota Insight somehow? Anyway they have a RaidCall server for voice and I guess are doing pretty well, and are working on a website.
I suggested some joint events and he sounded interested, but perhaps we should look to... "acquire" them and host their events to attract the AUS crowd. I'm sure there are a few folks with us already who wouldn't mind some more AUS/SEA timed events? |

They do In houses on Wednesday nights and ive played some games on a few of the weeks since i heard about it. Seem like a decent bunch, although the in game chat channel on a wednesday night is probably up over 200+ people now so can get a bit hectic to get involved in the matches.
Im up for anything which means i get to play more dota with cool people

I've played a few a games throughout the week but I've been facing issues with skill levels. i.e. most of the players are much better than me, but no one really says anything until the game starts. Still been fun though.
