Neither do we. You've all seen the result of these kitchen spam bots infesting our beloved forum board. Today I made some modifications to the forum board software that should hopefully prevent those posts from coming through.

This code has been thoroughly tested (read:  UnoPolak couldn't break it in 2 minutes so it must be good) so hopefully it puts an end to that mess. If you notice any irregularities or have problems making legitimate posts, please reach out to me on TeamSpeak so I can get that resolved.

Cheers

They already have healthcare, they have no reason to complain.

So, is there a reason all the jpgs look broken now?

EDIT: I've been told that vulturecostume has taken the pictures and is holding them hostage. Would everyone please spam him to fix them?

I think it's because they're actually people making the posts. If you noticed, they were omitting letters and such. It's getting better. I'll tell binary and uno to get back to their cages and work on it.

UnoPolak updated the script yesterday to be a bit more inclusive, it's a slow battle but I'm confident in our eventual victory.

I read the topic title without knowing about the spam bots, I thought it would be some deal link, extremely disappointed, I wanted to buy a new microwave.

It did

The script just checks against a database of known forum-spammer IP's, so it certainly isn't foolproof. There will definitely be some kind of super annoying captcha incoming for account creation or something.
