If you don't know how this is happening, centaur's return passive deals damage before he takes damage (when the auto attack animation starts) so by constantly spamming the stop hotkey with auto attack on prophet takes all the damage in the world

Most pro players actually play with it on, it allows them to stop cancel animations easier!

Weird, no need to animation cancel without autoattack on, which saves focus when it comes to last hits. I'd say it's not really an advantage in any way.

I do this as well. Animation cancelling is useful for a ton of different reasons than just attack animation cancelling.

I don't know. Personally, I see that as a bug. I don't think the damage loss should trigger until Centaur takes damage.

Something like auto attack is so minute to them that they dont even think about it plus it keeps them aware and active in the game. #mindgameswingames

Also, if I'm not mistaken, there was no way to disable it in WC3 dota so they are probably just used to doing it.

Actually it isn't a bug, return is supposed to do damage before the attack does damage. In this particular instance its bad because prophet couldn't get out of vision so he got facerolled by it.

If only he had a skill that destroyed trees....

Sigh, you misunderstood what I meant. I don't think that Centaur's skill should work this way. The description makes it sound like the damage is done upon receiving damage.

The only reason I think that it should stay this way is it basically is because its Cent's whole gimic/theme. An HP Tank that reflects damage with initiation capability. If he can't do his damage then it hurts him overall because then hes a pretty weak initiation hero (compared to other str initiators like tide,sk,es ect)
