Hi!
My laptop is since last night totally refusing to charge, which leaves me to think that the dc port is broken. But then i started thinking, is the dc port part of the motherboard? Because that sounds expensive to replace.

Anyone had any experience with MSI's global warranty?

Never dealt with MSI support. If its not the charger itself then it probably is the port which would be soldered onto your motherboard. If you're still under warranty I'm sure MSI would replace the mobo for you.

Hope that works out for you! Keep us posted buddy.

Does the power brick have a status light on it? If so is the light on when the unit is plugged into the wall? If so it more than likely is the dc port on the mobo.

Dark Souls is the only game that once I had beaten it I spent 5 minutes pelvic thrusting the screen as the credits rolled. My girlfriend didn't know what to think.

You might be thinking about Demon Stone, which was a forgotten realms game on PS2/XBOX/PC. Dark Souls is a "sequel" to Demon's Souls.

Its like snuggles said a spiritual successor to demon's souls. Its suppose to be difficult as shit but rewarding.

Edit: I have a question, if it turns out that my computer is fucked and can not be repaired. Would this http://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/1617770/2012-03-22 computer be good enough to stream with? I am not getting a laptop again im pretty sure

Yep I learned my on lesson gaming laptops a few years back. They seem awesome at first but cramming that much power in to such a small space tends to cause heat and wear problems rather quickly.

Hope they are able to fix it.

Demon stone is exactly the game I was actually thinking of, good one.

And yeah BearHug that rig you posted a link too would def be more then enough. We all learn that lesson the hard way, I had two gaming laptops (Alienware, ugh) that both went bad after less than two years due to heat issues.

ok getting back on topic, the DC port IS part of the motherboard, but is is INCREDIBLY EASILY to remove and re-solder a new part. my ASUS did this right before christmas and since my office is around the corner from their tech lab i had them fix it in a day. if you call MSI you can tell them you need your computer for important work purposes and request a rush. might be 1-2 weeks instead.
