Anyone else interested in playing this? We've been talking about it on IRC (yes, you should come hang out on the IRC) and it looks pretty awesome. Alverez and I will be playing this weekend when they open the test servers and I'll be streaming quite a bit if anyone is interested in tuning in.

I was in on the Beta, unfortunately they only have it open on the weekends. I joined the Marlboro server (the only US server I think).

How was it? I've been reading around and since it's still closed I can't stream it. You up for partying up with Alverez and I this weekend?

I have a dog event all weekend, but I may be around at night time. It's MUCH smoother than FFXIV v1, AND YOU CAN JUMP WITH SPACEBAR! Dunno if you played 11 or not, but this was kind of a cool mechanic that they stole from every other mmo. It kinda felt like they were taking you by the hand for the first hour or so, but all in all, it's better than it was. I'll hop on TS3 when I plan to get on and see if you guys are around.

A+ on this one, prepurchased after about 15 hrs of play. Great game that just oozes polish.

Pre-purchased as well. It was really fun. We gotta get a guild going in game when it's finally released.

Blessing, what did your friends roll? We should all group up this weekend and take one some of the dungeons.

I personally want to get up to the higher level ones, but I the cap is 35 this weekend, but the duty finder is in place so that looks pretty rad.

My brother in law and his sister rolled tarus, or whatever they're called now. He's a ranger. Forget what his sister went. They both started in a different city than we did. I only got to level 15 this weekend due to the flyball tournament, BUT this weekend is free, so I should be around for a good chunk of it. I wasn't able to finish the PUG level15 quest in time, nor the airship quests. The GuildHest quests are super simple with a higher levels help, and give a shit load of xp and gil. LeveQuests were nice as well.

If your BIL and sis can hit 15 we can go do the pirate quest and that opens up the other 3 or 4 dungeons. The first dungeon is pretty fun, and r/ffxiv is saying the others are even better. I'm going to be in their city for a while leveling in lancer and archer so if they want to party up tell them to jump on ts3 or message me in game.

The quest you need to do for the airship/pirate quest has "duty" in it. I don't remember the exact name, but ti's super easy. Just have an antidote

Edit: Actually, I'll go grab some healing spells. We'll need it haha.

I was told that once you hit 15 and do your quest, that you can insta-level your other jobs to 15 as well. I saw ppl doing it, all of a sudden, they would level up 14 times
