Hey everyone,

I got my beta key in January but have only played 10-12 games of DotA2 because all of my friends are on HoN. I've won 3 or 4 of those games and my problem seems to be that I just don't know the game well enough as far as items/heroes and what to expect from them. Hopefully I can get in on some inhouses with you people and we can all benefit! I don't rage and I do pretty well in HoN so hopefully it's only a matter of time before DotA2 clicks for me.

Jump on mumble and I'll play some bot games with ya and show you the basics.

Hey yim, welcome to DotaNoobs. Like the others have said, most of the game-related magic happens in Mumble, so come join us there and have some fun. Even if you don't have a Mic you can type through it.
