Hey there all, my name is Chris "Freevoi Tame and i am a fresh nooblet to this thing called dota2, had my key for a week and spent all that time playing with myself against bots to try and learn.. i did try to get some mates to play but they are happy in lol. I am hoping to join a few other people who are fresh to the scene and to have some fun while learning this wonderfull new game.

About me, i have been playing games most of my life from competitive counter strike gaming in my early teens (won a few loacal tounys), then to mmo's and stratagy games. I am a very competative player who wants to learn and to better himself, but i also want to calm down and enjoy games again . I played dota many years ago i was not great i normaly a feed as i had no clue but i still played it alot , Now i played LoL for arround 2 years nothing great just with mates. I think i only played it due to mates tho. I normaly play the roll of support warding and all that jaz and loving the look of dota2. I watch most e-sports from sc2 to dota mainly and loving it. i want to help dota grow if i can. Since getting the key i have spend some time trying to understand alot of what is said in streams etc and the game play (i finaly know what BKP stands for!).

well i talked alot so if u are still reading thank you, and i hope to join this community and get some learning going !!

P.S. i do aim to play support mainly as i know how important a good support can be in games, even tho i have been randoming every bot game i play if it helps thought i would mention it.

welcome freevoi. depending on where you see yourself in skill level either a) request a coaching session in the coaching session of the board. (i would do one today except i've been tied up for the last few days in terms of free dota time) b) download mumble and join in the chat, today at 4PM CST we have our usual sunday night rage-free inhouses.

Join in a game. And we are very polite here so posting on the coaching session will hopefully not get you in trouble ( can't say for sure not a mod just avid user) but I did a coaching session a while ago with 2 guys who came from LoL. So when I have some more free time I can sPend some time watching and helping you play.

Playdota.com go through the heroes list. Check out some of their guides. It is a decent start.

Hey Freevoi! Welcome to DotaNoobs, and to Dota2 in general. Glad you where watching our stream this evening; make sure you get in Mumble if you can, I'm sure any one of us would be happy to play some bot/MM games with you and help you out if need be.

We're all relatively new to the game and looking to get better so you should feel right at home
