uuhhhh both GW2 and D3 will consume my life. thank god they are both releasing after my exams. i may be calling in sick for work at d3 launch however.

Am I the only one who can't get excited about D3? I mean, I grew up with Diablo 1, and I LOVED diablo 2. But I just don't care whether or not Diablo 3 comes out or not. There must be something wrong with me.

Guild Wars 2 OTOH looks *amazing*. I'm probably going to be playing a ton of that too when it comes out.

Im in the same boat, I still play Diablo 2 to this day but Diablo 3 really hasnt sparked any of my interest. Maybe once I play it a bit it will be a different story.

But I pre-ordered the Collectors for GW2 already

I hear you. As excited as I know I should be for another Diablo game, it's just not that big a deal to me anymore. I feel like I've lost interest in a lot of games over the last few years, and I think that's especially true of games that are more "grindy" then others. Perfect examples of this are MUDs, Final Fantasy, Skyrim, D3, Guild Wars.... I just feel like those games are a waste of my time because I could either A) Play them forever in a single-player environment and probably never see ALL the content available, or B) Play online and have to compete with kids that are like I was 5 years ago and spend ALL DAY playing, I don't have the time to stay competitive in a scene like that.

That's why I've been loving games like DotA. Because at any given time I can pick it up and play a single game for an hour, and I'm not any worse off at the start then the kid that's been playing for the last 22 hours lol.

I feel like i am the only guy who isnt really excited for D3 or Gw2. I mostly look forward to heart of the swarm right now.
