It seems like an obvious answer "LFG Greenhorns!", but there's never anyone there. There doesn't often seem to be anyone in the regular Match making rooms, though I have seen them with people in it. There seems to be way more people in the [Not The DotA] channels.

Has the DotaNoobs Dota scene declined or do I just have bad luck?

I'm looking to play but since I'm still just monkeying around with the "Limited Heroes" (in order to try to get the basics down), I don't feel real comfortable jumping into the regular Match Making channels (unless people are ok with my learning as we play).

Best thing to do is jump into a busy channel and say hi. A lot of us still play a ton of dota, but some people are a little annoying when it comes to channel creation.

Most of the time, if you see a large group in a channel that's not CS:GO, they're playing dota.

Edit: Just wanted to say, I'm looking right now (around 1:45 PM EST) and there's about 35-40 people in the different MM channels, so you might have had some bad luck
