Personally I don't know if I like it. |

For some reason, DotA hasn't updated so I can't see it first hand, but from the images I've seen, I don't like it. The other method made it fairly easy to switch between looking at, say, Sven, then switching to checking out QoP's
I'll chime in again once I've tried it. |

As long as they keep the grid view as an option i dont really care, seems to much of a hassle to have the new one.

Not sure I'f I'm the biggest fan of it either. It's pretty annoying to cycle through heroes. They did keep the grid UI, but once you click on a hero, it zooms in on them so you can't see any others.

I like some of the features like suggesting heroes and Favoriting heroes
But I prefer the grid view it is easier to look through. I dont see myself using the wheel view |

I agree. It needs a lot of work.
I like the hero cards - but it doesn't work for hero pick UI. I'm going to post on the dev forums - i suggest you all do the same. ![]() |

Also - CyborgMatt has posted THIS THREAD including a number of options/settings you can add that will improve the hero pick UI and make it slightly more usable.
The hero cards introduce a few elements that still taking getting used to. But this makes it just a little better. If you don't know how to create or modify the autoexec.cfg file for Dota 2 - I just posted a link on how to do that in the guides section of these forums. |

Posted by fallenelf86 I couldn't get these to work... They seem to work just fine for me. The two things that I can think of off the top of my head is: 1. Make sure they are in the correct directory. Something like: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\cfg\autoexec.cfg 2. make sure that when you create your cfg file - that windows isn't saving a .txt at the end. You might need to enable the option to show file extensions to show this. |
