Right heres my idea

-Every week or second week Ill give away item to random person in the dota noobs mumble on ze sunday
-if people wanna donate spare items and stuff tis ok any ideas welcome.

Great idea. I went ahead and bought a few Legendary Largesse or whatever in the hell they are called last night, so expect some random gifts in-game these upcoming Sundays!

I also have a ass-load of items i could donate if we want to give them out, and would be happy to purchase some keys or w/e as prizes. Maybe we can give out a gift to the winning team of a random game every week?

They really should come up with a way to ante up items for matches. That would be awesomesauce!

Having item prizes for winning could be fun. But it could also ruin the laid back atmosphere of the in-house.
Methinks random drops would be better.

I didn't mean every winning team would get an item, it would be a single random time every night. But regardless of that I still think you're right, we should just have it be random, including even spectators in the game lobby maybe. Would give a little incentive for people to come and play/watch.

How about giving out items as prizes for certain, not-so-serious achievements, for example "rustled shane's jimmies award" (killed shane the most or in the best way", "manliest russian dota played", i.e. most suicidal, agressive play, (Irish people not eligible).

To be fair, this actually would be pretty fun. The day before inhouses we could set 5-10 secret awards, all of varying ridiculousness. Some ideas:

Manliest Player of the Match (if you pick Axe you should win)
Made Shane Yell "Save Meh!" the Most
Fled the Most when Gambit was Pushing
Supporter Who Bought Wards All Game
Invoker: Master of 3 Spells

It could be really funny.

While I don't think the prizes should be based around any of our current members, I do like this idea. We have a secret 2-5 prize conditions for every night, and post the conditions and the winners on the main site after every week.
