Gents,

Just wanted to let you guys know how proud we are of everyone that participated Sunday night! We’ve talked to Synderen a few times since he played with us and he’s had nothing but great things to say about our little community here. We’ve strived very hard to create a unique atmosphere here at DotaNoobs and we think we portrayed that excellently on Sunday afternoon. Moving forward we’re going to try to get more fun actives like this going. So if you enjoyed yourself and enjoy what we do here take some time to let other players know about us whenever the opportunity arises. See someone on /r/dota2 asking for help? Send them our way? Got a buddy that just got into the beta? Bring him/her to the next Sunday Night Showdown. It’s through organic growth like this that we’ll be able to keep this awesome atmosphere going.

Also please note that we’re always looking for people to help out in anyway they can. So if you’re interested in casting, web design, coding, or community building let us know and we’ll happily put you to work.

Anyway, thanks so much for making this community what it is!

I skim r/dota frequently and direct new players here if FallenElf hasn't already beaten me to it, but I'd be happy to help in a more official capacity. I have experience in coding (job and hobby related) although I would prefer to work in community building in some capacity. What sort of things did you have in mind there, besides the obvious of warning new people that when Shane says "go in" he really means "if we go in we will surely team wipe".

Community building. I can help with this. I spend most of my day at work browsing reddit and recommending people to the site anyway.

full time job + full time school = 85 hours + a week working + 6-8 hours of sleep = a few hours per week spare time

had to watch all of breaking bad, occasionally dabble in DayZ, Steam Sale, Diablo 3, and now the good year end games are coming. So I am trying to find time to DOTA, and i will force myself to play SOON.

I'm thinking next sunday night inhouse would be best. Long weekend in Canada, see you guys soon
