For those that don't know, there are a number of performance and visual tweaks that you can make to Dota 2 by creating a file called "autoexec.cfg". The file should be placed in: \Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota\cfg.
Below is a guide I've found with a sample autoexec.cfg file which contain most of the settings that this file has and commented with Valve default settings. It appears to be updated semi-regularly. Please note that Valve is adding additional commands all the time that can be added to this file - especially as they release new features to the UI. http://www.killsteal-legends.net/dota-2-tweaked-config.html Also - here is a complete listing of console commands. Any of these commands can be run in your autoexec.cfg file. |

This is a really awesome post. I remember seeing this somewhere and wishing I would have favorited. I need to set space-bar to hold-to-follow, super useful when I need one of my hands for something IRL.
Like a phone call, or taking a swig of beer... get your mind out of the gutter. |
