DOta noobs Saturday league
post thread on forums who ever wants to play can play ill make random teams out of the people who apply decide type of league/cup depending on amount of people that apply. edit:can be a test run this time and if works every 2 weeks or something we can do it |

This is something we wanted to do originally with dotanoobs, but we just got a little too worried about teams getting stacked and it not being fun. I think random teams is a good solution, but I still worry about the chance of teams getting skewed skill-wise with randomization. I don't really think there's a way to fix that problem except just getting this thing started and seeing how it goes. Talk to me next time you catch me on mumble shane, I'd be willing to help do the work to set this up.

I think we could probably pool some funds to give out a few of the gift packs to the participants and spectators. Would probably make watching the games a little more fun. Hell, if we try and contact Valve there's a good chance they would donate a bunch of stuff for events like this.
