I noticed a few top tier heroes that received nerfs. The QW invoker is going to have a tougher time with the -4 base damage, Dark Seer + Naga Siren now has to wait for the sleep to wear off, Furion trees can be nuked down more easily, Lone Druid will be giving away 100 gold instead of that last second resummon of the bear, Lycan's wolves are MUCH more susceptible to physical damage but still about the same for magical, Brewmaster pandas are now affected by Blackhole so he isn't as strong a counter to Enigma anymore, Tidehunter's ravage propagates more slowly and (looking at you Dendi Rubick) give quick hands a chance to react, and Venomancer's wards give a little less vision and make them less valuable for scouting.

Of the item changes, BKB not being able to be sold is a big one. The Eblade goes off of your primary attribute, so the Eblade Dragon Knight is more viable than ever (curse you syndereN). Smoke of deceit is dispelled by Brewmaster pandas, and a plethora of other little changes.

Notable missing changes are the rumored Morphling Morph rework, where stuns would stop the morphing. I was also struck by how large the stat gain increase for Phantom Lancer was, from 2.8 to 4.2. Sheesh!

All in all... should be interesting times ahead. :-

I expect kill bounty/experience change will affect the typical lane composition in competitive games. The last few months, 2-1-1 with a jungle has been really popular, but I expect that we will see more trilanes and strong dual lanes (due to the kill bounty change), especially mid, where a few kills can give a better experience/gold advantage than a jungle.
I think this change will also promote a more gank/map control kind of lineup. I expect to see a lot more bounty hunter, Wisp and smiliar heroes that can control the map and win skirmishes.

I just played the 6.75 Alchemist for the first time last night. The gold/concoction changes really allows him to be useful throughout the game. Took a hero I liked that was kinda meh and made him pretty worthwhile.

Was perusing the dev forums and found something of interest.

Jakiro's stun, OP or not OP?

Well if you said OP then youre right because its bugged!
Its supposed to be a ground target ability!
BUT WAIT THERES MORE!!!!!
If you target it on a hero and the hero tries to juke the stun jakiro will actually turn and fire it right on the hero, using that delayed cast time to turn his dragony body to still line that stun up perfectly!

Just a little 6.75 food for thought!

They fixed the Jakiro ice path now, so it won't track down the hero that you used it on. Now he isnt as OP.

Yeah even before the update I liked him he was a nice hero, although not viable for competitive play at the time, but he was loads of fun with a Disruptor, Enigma by your side, Macroprye combined with Black Hole or Kinetic Field was (and still is) destructive in team-fights.

I still haven't tried out 6.76 Alchemist, I hear he farms like a boss.

I'd see him here or there, but he was like used for super secret pocket strats because CM or VS or Veno were picked or banned and they needed a trilane stunner. He got some small reworks and its all he needed to be an all around really good hero. i dont mind either since hes a great support to be on your team plus he makes fighting against him alot of fun and a whole new game of its own
