Really intersting changes, a few drastic changes too! And a brand new game mode!

Icefrog is just asking for sniper to be used competitively

And drow's a farming MONSTER.. I love a good afk burning status farm

Click on the expand button and it has all the info

basically you get 2 random heroes that you can swap between in the game, they both get the gold and xp you get throught the game

Good patch, but i think Meepos buff was crazy.

I know some people who carry SO hard with meepo and the 100% stat share from the agh's is nuts.

I really like Silencer, so hoping this buff/rework will help bring him forward in the meta. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

That disarm is pretty much going to force right click carries to get a bkb so they dont get disarmed, or AM is going to have to waste his blink. voids going to either have to waste his leap or blow his chrono theres so many ways to shut down those guys with that skill

I seriously think its awesome that the game is still getting patches/balances/changes, and it's even better that Valve is pretty good about keeping Dota2 up-to-speed.

I wouldn't be too worried about Sniper being played more. His buffs were nice, but he's still missing burst damage and an escape, imo.

Your going to see sniper building Drums and Force Staff (even after the change id argue)
After that youll probably see manta and either MKB or Daed, its really situational and that also includes when you pick him as well.

Ive been seeing him picked as the safe lane farmer he will go wraithband and a branch at level 1 and get regen pooled to him, youll see him max headshot and range and go into stats as well

This build will probably offset his lack of escape and tankability as well as give him some decent damage, i wouldnt be suprised to see a mjonir thrown in there at some point either!

I would say that Sniper's flaws can all be covered by Items, I dont really see the use of an MKB on him. Drums would be good, but I consider Lothar's a must on him.

Hmm, Sniper is a hero that I actually really like, but he does have a ton of problems. Yes, his problems can be masked by items, but until you get those items, you're extremely squishy and pretty much food. Sniper (and Drow) require constant support to be with them for a decent chunk of the match, which is a problem. Instead of playing 4v5 for most of the match, you're now 3v5.

As far as Shadow Blade being a must, it's a decent item, but, at the end of the day, how much is it actually going to save you? Against decent players, it's useless as an escape, because they will be carry dust.

I play Sniper like a true glass cannon who just sits outside of a fight and shoots like crazy. My builds generally revolve around Mjolnir, MKB, Daedalus, maybe Deso. The goal is high DPS with max chance to mini stun. MKB is a GREAT item on Sniper because if Headshot doesn't proc, MKB has a chance to. It pretty much ensures that you'll mini stun every other shot at the least.
