My name is Matt, I'm 17 and from Southern California.

I've been playing DOTA for a couple of days, but have prior experience in HoN(3 Months) and League (Since Beta), as well as the original DOTA(A couple of weeks with some friends and LAN Parties). I'm planning on mostly playing AGI/INT champions, for any of you who are looking for members to round out teams. I play in the evenings, usually, I have a microphone and will be on the Mumble server quite often, hopefully. I'm really excited to get to know everyone and play the Beta.

why are people in hon for only like 3 months but is in lol forever? i still dont understand the reason why. I know the community is pretty bad but it shouldnt discourage you from playing.

Well I heard about LoL before I heard about HoN. When I tried HoN for the first time I just thought it looked very weird, couldn't get used to it. When I got into the Dota2 beta my buddy played a few games and was like "well I can't play this son come play HoN with me", so I did.

Then I stuck to HoN for a few months until said friend went off to medical school, and now here I am back @ Dota2 lol.

I tried HoN a few times but I never really adjusted to it, the graphics style hurt my eyes and the people sure didn't help. League wasnt all that much better artstyle wise but I guess I just liked ease of play for a while.
