Hey guys, so i was talking to someone tonight and they were asking me about guides for heroes and of course i referred them to Gambit's in-game guides!

What do you guys think of short guides like the dota cinema guides but going more into detail about skill builds and item builds? And say for example seeing an item in a game situation, like take Antimage everyone knows you can go battle fury but like i could show clips of ways to use that battle fury like taking down big stacks or hardcore pushing. Or what if youre AM and your getting shut down, well switch to a vanguard vlads build and show how that works in a game!

Ive got a digital cinema production class next semester and this is an excuse for me to not fail the course and hopefully help some people out!

Would anyone be of interest to these guides or am i just crazy as usual?!

If you want to make some guides and you've got the time to do it, you should make the guide.

ive got ALOT of time and Pinnacle video editing software on my computer taking up HD space

Plus we've been saying we want to ramp up the coaching efforts! what better to do than to make some cool video guides, because you can learn a hero but theres so any items that picking out some of the right ones can be really daunting!

I could even take gambits item guides and use those if hes okay! that way we have some coherency in the resources we make for our community!

Yeah this would be awesome  _ATLAS, we could integrate these videos into DotaUniversity. Feel free to look at the unfinished outline of potential topics there, and create little short video clips for any of those sections that we can include with an article, that would be awesome.

We've been meaning to flesh that section out for a while haha.

I'll definately look into doing videos for these topics and others! Ive already got some ideas going for alot of them too, think hero roles in a TF2 meet the team style

I have a perfect starting project for you that is somewhat unrelated. Why don't you make a little 5-15 second "introduction" for DotaNoobs.

Make a few different versions and we can vote on one maybe? This could be displayed at the begining of every coaching video, replay, stream, etc etc with our site info and all that.

He's a good guy, just ask him to show you how he does some stuff. If you guys collaborated it would be beneficial to you as well, since it sounds like this is what you're studying at school.
