~300 games of DotA 2 with some experience of WC3 dota.

Used to have a 50% win rate, but due to some circumstances I've been rapidly generating losing streaks, currently sitting at 42%.

There's something fundamentally wrong with my playstyle, and I am seeking to fix it by whatever means necessary.

I was in the same boat as you, my first 100 or so games I was 50% or over winrate, and it dropped to the low 40%'s as I got into the game. I think as you get comfortable with the game, you start trying new heroes and moving away from your 'I like these 2 heroes' mentality, and that inevitably leads to a few extra losses.

Hop into Mumble sometime this week and play a few games with us

Dude, I'm in the same boat. Hitting random, using divine courage, etc has driven my win rate down...but driven my FUN RATE up. This is much more important!

I think a lot of people's winrate drops once they hit the 300-500 game mark, as that seems to be when most people start getting queued in higher skill brackets or messing around with randoms/divine courage and the like.
