hello my name is aSadDumpling and im totally new to dota type gameplay. my friend on steam friend recently sent me dota2 as a gift and i really wanna get to know how to play it. the first couple of games i played i didnt know what i was doing at all so i went to some forms and wiki and youtube to read up and study what to do but i still dont get about 75% of the game. i was playing puck but now i switched to nyx assassin. i dont know if it is a good choice for a noob. im looking here for some coaching and other noobs that wanna get better at this game to play with so we both get better cause im tired of getting destroyed by easy bots.

Hey, welcome to the wide world of Dota. We should be able to help you out. Your best bet is to download Teamspeak3 and get on our server (voice.dotanoobs.com). Once on just join a busy channel and introduce yourself. There are little badges next to people's names, and if you see someone with a "C" for coach that would be the perfect person to talk with. You can also add me on steam (unopolak) and I can play a few bot games with you and answer any questions that you have. Cheers!

You've come to the right place! We'll get you set up with a coach who will show you the basics and you can feel free to just jump into some MM games with anyone on TeamSpeak. Just mention that you're new and everyone will help you out!
