Hey!

A little bit about myself:
The name's sweeton, but you can call me Sweeton (capital 'S') and I like to use parentheses. I have been playing DOTA 2 religiously for over a year now and played WC3 DOTA on and off for about 3 years. I'm an amazing support player, I guarantee to win the lane unless we are against undying (that guy scares me) or someone that is better than me (although, lets not kid ourselves, that's impossible). My favorite hero is lich because 'pootis' but witch doctor and venge are close behind. I joined dotanoobs to work on playing semi and hard carries because my last hitting is abysmal. So, look forward to playing with a clinks who can't get an orchid in a 60 min farm fest (a little extreme perhaps, but not too far off). Any help would be appreciated. For practice, I commonly go private lobbies and take the shadow fiend challenge (http://www.dotacash.com/forums/general-discussion/shadowfiend-10-minute-cs-challenge/) to work on the last hitting problem (my best is 82).

I look forward to the potential of DOTA 2 in the e-sport scene. Even in the two months succeeding TI2, larger companies like MLG and Dignitas have sponsored tournaments and recruited teams to help expand the game of DOTA as a whole. The one difference DOTA has that gives it an edge over all other e-sports (LoL, Starcraft, UMVC3) is the developer, Valve. Everywhere you look, either in game with team banners, or at their $1M tournament, The International, Valve is actively helping and expanding their game to become more public. What excites me more is that the game hasn't been fully released, there are 17 heroes left to still come out and plenty of other aspects to the game like modding support and quests that Valve has promised will be implemented by the end. Hopefully with the help of Valve and the DOTA 2 community, I can look forward to watching The International on my TV in the near future.

Hey Sweeton, and welcome to DotaNoobs! If you haven't already gotten Mumble set up, we are on there now! If you aren't planning to join us this weekend, skip Mumble and download TeamSpeak 3 instead, as we will be moving to that service next week And I had not seen that SF challenge before, looks fun.

Hey man its been fun playing the last few days with you!

10 minute shadow fiend challenge is the ultimate test of a pro last hitter and ricer even if it isnt a competition its still a great way to practice your last hits! SO i totally agree with you there! if you ever want to play im around like 99% of the time!

Welcome to the community! I also love support, and am slowly working on that semi-carry/carry role. It will come
