Hey Doobs,

I feel like our first batch of in-house games went phenomenally well, and our numbers are growing on a daily basis. I think we should schedule a good 3-4 future times/dates for more of the same, and start posting announcements now. Maybe we even do a single recurring day (like every Monday night or something?). Getting together to play and meet each other is a lot of fun, and it gets the community out and involved with us. By scheduling something and announcing it days/a week in advance I think we can plan on better turn outs and maybe get 2-3 games going at once.

Hell, last time I think  Alverez said 4:00-8:00PM. I left to go party at 7:30 and when I got back at 2:00AM people were just finishing the last game of the night, with a good 2-3 people just spectating that last game.

Oh that last game was a mess!

I'd vote for Sunday night rather than Monday night, as I think we could get more people that way. What I have found is that the amount of people online on facebook or gchat jumps up Sunday night as everyone winds down for their weekend and prepares for the week.

I'm also going to be starting a new job in about a week and a half. I won't be able to participate as much as I have been since the job is 7pm-7am 4 days a week with a rotating schedule. I have no idea what that's going to do to my gaming time, but I'll do my best to play with you all, or at least commentate afterwards.

Graveyard shifts suck bro.

Sunday nights I'm usually hanging out with my girlfriend. Sunday during the days however I could probably do some games.

Either way - it sounds like a good plan. I like the idea of scheduled in house events.

I'm ok with just about any night of the week, but Sunday night worked really well for me. I enjoyed the hell out of those games (except when we lost, of course). Just throw an announcement up on the boards or the subreddit and I'll be there. If you need my help with any organizational stuff, let me know. I'll pitch in where I'm needed.

Sounds good thanks for the offer jBrown we're always looking for a helping hand I'll let you know. I'll talk to Alverez today and see if we can decide on something and get an announcement up.

Sunday is normally the best days for me. I have soccer in the mornings/early afternoon, but otherwise I am free for the day. Just need to make sure to get most of my studying and labs done before sunday.

Yeah, would be great to have multiple times. I work nights, so any time during the day works for me.

Ok,

Let's setup another night for the US players, and we need to get someone to host another set at EU times!

I was thinking Tuesday for the 2nd set of US matches and we'll need a volunteer for the EU games.

Tuesdays are kinda bad for me, but it's whatever works for the most of us, I could probably be there half the time. Thursdays would be awesome

One of our newest members Kaero was from Holland! Lol. If we can get one or more people involved who want to run a separate set of games for the EU scene that would be awesome, and it would be great to accommodate people in other time-zones.

Seriously if no one steps up to the plate I can be around for a day to do EU games, what would that be like 6:00AM CST? I don't even know.

Not entirely sure what CST is compared to GMT (Im actually GMT+1, 3:19AM at time of posting this) but I don't mind putting a bit of time in to host EU even if only spectating. Just fill me in on what I should be doing and when.

CST is GMT-6 if I remember correctly (I really hate time zones and whatnot). I know that there are a few EU players that hang out on Mumble, though i'm not sure when they are usually on.

Well maybe we should put up a thread on the subreddit and /r/Dota2 to get anyone else interested in the EU side together on this board, and then get something weekly scheduled.
