I was just curious as to what everyone prefers to set their spacebar key as. I've recently started playing micro-intensive heroes such as Meepo and Chen, so I've had to change my keybinds around a bit. Since I'm used to Tab for the scoreboard, I set Space to tab through control groups (1 for my hero, 2 for all other units, 3 for both). It lets me keep my fingers on my item keys during teamfights. What do you guys like to use Space for?

I use spacebar as a quick item key. I usually put a mek/magic wand/etc on space so I can press it really fast and survive.

Spacebar is my button i use to put a space between my words!

i use it for nothign! everything i do is on QWER 123456 or ASDF i legit dont move my left hand at all when i play haha

What's a keyboard?

i mean i can see how people can use these mice, but you never hear of anyone prominent using these, outside of the Arena WoW communities

They look awesome and they probably are really convenient i could never see using them though

I personally know of like 3 or 4 doobs that use them. Well the Naga not the MOBA one. I highly recommend it! I have my 6 item buttons mapped to the 1-6 buttons right at my thumb which is super handy. If they would allow us to bind modifier keys it would be even more bailing.

binding the modifier key would be really cool, because it always ends up at the weirdest spot on the keyboard, and i end up just misclicking something important instead haha

One thing i heard about the NagaHex though is its a short and fat mouse so it could be a little uncomfortable

I actually don't use it because I have two buttons on my mouse and items on 1-4, but I should probably bind one of the items to space as I usually have at least 3 that I need to hit quickly and sometimes get nervous that I'll miss the number key.

I have the Hex and I love it. Just enough buttons for all the items

Ive just played with my setup for as long as i can remember and my amount of misclicks have gone down to once in a bleu moon over the years. its just one of those things thats in the back of my mind. I think about it but its almost like second nature to make sure im hitting the right one. I also place my important items like boots or tp scrolls or mek on my 3 or 4 button because those require the least amount of effort to mess up haha

Yeah, but I'm increasingly running into situations where I have at least 4 items I need to be able to use rapidly at any point. I'm still a bit scared to try out a Blink Dagger, Force Staff, Scythe of Vyse Tinker because of the sheer number of buttons I would have to press. Also, you can hit the spacebar while you hit the number keys at the same time, so its probably a tad faster. There's good reason to change.

You guys should have played a hunter in vanilla wow.... it was like flying a fucking space shuttle I had so many buttons!

I'm a lefty so one of those isn't even an option

I don't use my spacebar for anything but I should bind it to follow my hero. I currently use one of the mouse buttons for that and I'm sure I could put something more important there.

I used my first one till it broke and got one of the newer models last year. My awesome GF got me a BlackWidow mechanical keyboard around the same time and I've gone back to just using that over the Nostromo because I like the tactile feedback of those keys Although I do still highly recommend the Nostromo if you play a lot of games. They are very flexible and allow you to decided what every key is mapped out to. The thumb buttons esp are great at working like shift buttons that modify the other keys, so really if you set it up right you can have upwards of 50+ keys right at your finger tips. That reduced hand movement stress and from my experience also greatly increases your in game speed. I've just not set it up for Dota2 because I'm so use to the QWER button placement now, and relearning that would be really annoying.

Yeah I always just liked a keyboard and I'm too lazy to get used to anything else because I'm lazy. But. Definitely see merit in using those. I just love my mechanical keyboard way too much
