Do you think we should change our logo to better represent the change to dotanoobs?

I'm going to abstain my vote here. Yes we probably should get a new logo but I really like the current one. If we come up with a design idea I can photoshop something up, or we can see if Love would be interested.

I tried drawing Lina for a different logo yesterday, but failed pretty miserably. I've been learning how to draw people, but its not coming along as fast as I'd hoped. I'm trying to think of something that I can draw that we can use, but I haven't had any real solid ideas yet. I'll keep the wheels turning in my head.

I also started thinking about graphics that we could add to the main site now that it has been fleshed out a bit. Will see what I can do there on my free time as well.

I got bored, lol. No but Love if you have Photoshop the Dota2 font is included, if you don't I'll get it.

If we are going in a less reddit-centric direction i think a new logo probably would be good. I like the old one aswell though.

Rofl well its in the uploader feel free to switch the banner images. I'll get myself a copy of Photoshop so we can use the actual font.

I do have the font downloaded. I'll see if i can think of a design for a logo separate from the official dota logo. Perhaps I can design something with DN that will look cool.

well if we want to go with the whole "dota is a montain" idea then we could have a group of people being lead up a montain trail by the reddit guys just to show were we are from. bt we could also go with any of the charecters from the game as well.

I think including a single hero or something in the logo is kinda limiting, I'd rather have no hero. Or the shopkeeper... or a courier! lol

maybe we could have a path with one way to roshan and one way to the secret shop and a dotanoobs teacher would be pointing the safe way
any way i think that since we went with the mountain analogy in our cover letter then maybe we should go with it in the logo as well since we are trying to teach people the skills necessary to play dota

Also, I noticed that the DOTA part of the logo has some fuzziness around it likely due to scaling and jpg compression while the NOOBS part is crisp. Yes, I'm that much of a pain in the ass about this stuff.

I was thinking of having a dotanoobs logo embedded in the gem of true sight saying that we are the one true path to true dota learning.
