I'm Skyop from the western US. I just recently started playing DotA 2 an I really like it. I play mostly during down time when I am not working on my Ruby skills or homework. I am really looking to join a team one day and play casually with them so if anyone is looking, you can message me. So I guess hi all!

PS: If anyone can explain the little goomba going across the bottom of my screen every few minutes, I would like that person.

I am relatively new to the game and I have been playing a lot of Templar Assassin but I feel that I can do better as a different character. Can anyone help me look for a new hero or role to look into. I am pretty much into anything but I got kinda addicted to Lanaya's refraction. Any help is awesome and I would love to fill any spots in teams or parties to learn. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like awesome advice. In other games I see myself as a support guy but in dota I feel a lot more like really crushing and surprising the hell out of people. That is part of the reason I liked Templar Assassin so much because I could go meld refraction them chase them down for the kill. I don't think I have enough skill for a carry though.

I am relatively new to the game and have played about 15 to 20 games and one problem I have seen always is the lack of leveling I do. I have tried other characters and I think I just need a little technique. Do I have to jungle more or what?

So basically I need to keep moving around?

I was a little bummed out that I was unable to participate in the current season because I missed the start by like a week. So, I wanted to see if anyone was interested in either leading (probably someone that is skilled and knows what they are doing) some newer players like myself and forming a sort of learning team. I feel that being on a team is a great opportunity for new players and that this community we have here is the best place to learn. It is always best to learn form a mentor. If anyone is interested, feel free to post your ideas here and maybe we can get something going.

PS: Having multiple teams isn't a bad thing either!
PPS: This will hopefully be casual but I am open to any suggestions.
PPPS: I am writing this just to have lots of P's in my PS's.
PPPPS: Google Chrome doesn't like this many P's...

This is beneficial because it will get you advice straight in the game and you can learn all sorts of new ideas and tips that will hopefully take your game to the next level and be a true champion. The guys who make the props for LotR and other movies are working with valve to make replicas of items from in game. They have the Vanguard, Demon Edge, Butterfly, and Axe. Super cool but a little out of my price range. These guys also made the Ageis of Champions that the international champions get each year.
