Hey guys I found this place over on Reddit and I thought I would come and check it out since I'm trying to get into DotA 2!

A bit about myself I am from the UK (South West England) and I'm 19 years old and currently a full time Student at University studying Game Design! I've been in the competitive gaming scene for about 6 years now and I started on Halo 2 for the Xbox and I attended my first ever LAN when I was 14. Since then I've played various games and competed at a lot of different levels most recently LoL but I'm starting to get a bit bored of that and thats where DotA 2 has come in.

I've been watching tournaments and playing a little outside of LoL practice for about a year and I really enjoy watching the game and playing now that I've decided to play a lot more.

My goals are to find a team and improve my skill and knowledge in a nice environment and hopefully get top tier (I know its ambitious but I've done it on other games so I know what it takes).

Anyway for now I just want to play and I'd really appreciate if there are some people out there that are willing to play a few games with me and teach me a bit.

Welcome good sir! I'm sure you'll find a good amount of players that need teaching (including myself ).

I got a Ducky DK9087 Shine 2 recently, 10 key-less, white back lights and brown cherry MX switches and so far its the best keyboard I have ever used in my life and I'm glad I picked one up.

I recommend looking at some of theirs and see what takes your fancy as they have a lot to offer in terms of switches and layouts.

I've always found that the best way to learn how to be aggressive is to just way overdo it and die a lot first and then it will become clearer as to what you can get away with!
