Hi all,
I heard about this community on Dota Insight a while back, but just now got around to checking it out. I've been looking for a place to meet some experienced players, and maybe help some newer guys as well. I'm very new to Dota 2 (have only been playing since around last November) but it's become a pretty strong addiction since then. I usually like to play hard carries or initiators (Tidehunter, Lifestealer, etc), QoP or OD mid, and a few supports like Crystal Maiden, KotL and Lion. Hope to get to know you guys more, heard great things about the folks here. |

Seems to remind me a lot of one of the third person Unreal games on the original Xbox, had a lot of fun with that one back in the day.

He's finally in the game, and boy does he seem powerful.
It seems to me he's a natural choice for mid, since he reminds me a lot of other glass canon mids like Outworld (I love OD, btw). Though I wonder if you could play him in a trilane, since he has the spell amp with the slow. Any thoughts on him, guys? |

After playing him a bit, he definitely reminds me a lot of OD. Though I find him a bit harder to play, since he doesn't have OD's infinite mana pool, or his sheer control over fights. Though I think if you can stay on the outskirts during team fights, he can do a lot of damage.

Pretty excited as well. As long as there is an option to keep the trademark difficulty, the rest of the game looks ready to carry the torch.
I do hope they keep a similar minimalist storytelling style in the next game. It was always fun to read every item description looking for shreds of backstory. And I can't wait to see how they'll make something to top Ornstein and Smough. |
