Well, after Ham told me he just started it two weeks ago I was wondering if anyone else had played / is playing it ?

Its probably the best MMO I have ever played, the one short coming being you kinda have to make action for yourself ( if you want to win ), could be interesting if we could get a small fleet and go on a wormhole foya / low sec gate camp, Heck I will even fly the logistics ship if we do !

Well I played a few, but the two I played the most would be DAoC and Eve.

Eve is not anything like a traditional WoW type MMO to be honest, what I can say about it is, its a "Fucking people over simulator in space"

When you die you lose your ship / escape pod ( which can lose you alot of money if you had implants and actual real training time [ can be a month of time ] if you do not have life insurance !

I was a low sec pirate, very often we would disables peoples ships, then randsom them for money, and still kill them anyways.

We would pretend we were mercs and take money off noob corps to "declare war" on their enemies, then just kill the people we took money off

Takes alot of time to get going in it though !

I have a 5mill or so SP Gallente pilot in nullsec.

Running a small fleet could be good fun - plenty of booty out there for those with the stones to search for it.

I've always had dreams of becoming a space pirate in this game, but the only thing I was ever able to do successfully was mine rocks. So many rocks.....

Alright, I'm off from work next week so I'll start the 14 day trial this weekend...after our tournament of course. I'm expecting the good lads from across the pond to show me the ropes.

i stopped when i couldnt fucking figure out how to mine in one mission. Ended up orbiting an asteroid for 30 minutes
