Hey guys, I'm The Mighty Fezbat, and I got my Dota 2 beta key this past weekend. Though I played League of Legends for about a year before this, and HoN for a couple of weeks, I have almost no clue what I'm doing in Dota. I was scared until yesterday to even play with other people because the bots stomped me so hard every time, but now I'm sitting at a 2-2 record after playing with a friend who's been playing for a while, and told me what to do while carrying me both times I won. I suppose my favorite heroes are Jakiro and Tidebringer, since they're the ones that I won with. Heroes who I have not tried but look friggin cool are Shadow Shaman, Clockwerk, and Viper.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to all of you nice people helping me learn what in the heck I'm doing. And then afterwards, stomping your sorry asses.

Haha well met Fezbat, welcome to the Doobs community. A lot of us here have no DotA experience but some HoN/LoL time under our belts. The first big leap is learning the new mechanics/items/heroes etc.

Shadow Shaman is a beast I highly recommend you check him out sometime. Hopefully you can get into Mumble and get some games in with us sometime this week! Catch ya' around.
